Jack28HT, i have the similar problem. Room aint wide enough to put PC12Plus up front as it would be blocking my screen. So, I can't put it at ideal positions (after sub crawl). Ended up at 4th best position.

Bro, need traning lah. My baby boy got used to it. He watched the entire Madagascar 2 in my ht room. Vol at a bit lower side; -30dB.

He is a bit 'weird'. He likes classic songs and oldies. Will shake his butts while watching concerts / listening to it. When I watched 'Mamma Mia' in my HT room, he clapped his hands. So cute lah laugh.gif

Yes, distortion is an issue esp when you set the level too high on your avr for the sub.

I am a bit 'kiasi' on the sub as I want to 'preserve' its lifespan. So, all my subs til this one, never crank more than half. Afraid the amp will give up.

BTW, jchong, how's your acoustic treatment trial been going?
