That would probably ends up at abt RM3,036 excluding transportation fee if the same tax rate applies

Chances are high that KEC will become Singapore sole distributor since they are organizing the show and now that they are accepting orders for SVS

Remember the Paradigm Sub25 that was mentioned before? A real monster of a sub, with a US RRP of $3999. You would imagine the local price would be like 15k or something like that.

Well, it's 'only' 11k smile.gif See: http://technu.nst.com.my/Current_News/tech...icle/index_html

So for those whose budget reaches 5 figures (not me sad.gif) this is another one to consider apart from the JL Fathoms and Submersive.
*
jchong, Paradigm is one of the few companies that SVS has a high respect for its products. Its Servo 15 was in my 'wishlist'. Too bad that it is no longer in production and the price tag was beyond my reach. Can only afford PC-12Plus after smashing all my piggy banks sweat.gif It is the most expensive item that I ever bought throughout my 17 years in this HT hobby.

Don't worry, it won't be the last expensive item you will ever buy!  biggrin.gif  laugh.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

Hopefully.

Next aim (if everything goes as planned), it would be PB13Ultra / PC-13ultra. Most likely PB. Unless, I have a bigger room for PC. Obviously, I do not have one sad.gif

Then, Klipsch RF-83, RC-64, RS-62 plus multi-channel power amp along with JVC D-ILA projector wub.gif .

Reached home at abt 1.15am thanks to delayed flight.

Most of the shops in Adelphi were closed. Else, I would try to 'buy some time' to sneak into Norman Audio, and also to test McIntosh & Dynaudio.

Bro, mine is nothing if to really compare with elite setup blush.gif . Maybe kiam or s6xs9x got the opportunity to audition my friend's setup.

I am not really into car, watch collection or other more expensive hobby. This is my main hobby and apart from it, it is also my business as well. So, I guess I consider myself as 'lucky' tongue.gif So, it aint that 'bottomless' after all laugh.gif

Oh yes, next on the list would be a BIG one if I really have the moolah whistling.gif

Have you watch JVC RS10 and Optoma HD82 side by side? Would like to know your impression. I got a feeling that the RS10 demo unit is not up to my expectation (which might because it's a lemon) as it doesn't perform up to what had been describe by few owners. If you are not RBE sensitive since you have HD65, better compare that to HD82. I would say it had more "wow" factor in the picture quality. Now will HD86 improve much from HD82, that's another story. Also under my radar would be the new Infocus projector. I'm waiting for the dealer to confirrm if the 3D upgrade is free for existing HD82 before pulling the trigger. If not, I'll wait for 3D version.
*
I was told abt that too on RS10. You auditioned it at Center Circle? Comments are abt the black reproduction is not that convincing and contrast is not up expectation. Maybe need to ask JVC to send the RS10 over to compare side by side with HD82. Wonder they ll allow it hmm.gif I am also waiting for HD82 3D version.

How abt Epson TW3000 / TW 4000? The Infocus X10 is definitely out of my list.

Bro, I believe that there will be certain freq that can crack / damage things. Just like the glass breaking theory by using vocal.

Like soldiers doing a marching crossing a bridge. A continous and uniformity march will create certain frequency that can actually bring down the bridge. No joke. Someone told me this. That's the reason that they don't march across the bridge.

Hi htkaki nice to meet u at the show, sorry didnt have
much time to talk alot of ppl were asking me which subs
to buy. hey im not even a sales person frm KEC haha tongue.gif
I have almost completed tuning my 4th sub now need to
fine tune a little and add some bass traps at a particular
corner where im having some double bass there n im done wink.gif
*
Nice meeting you too, koma.

It would have been a lot better if not becoz of the ballroom. Same fate too. A lot of ppl asking me for advice and spec on those subs. I have strong admiration for your 'old school' way of sub calibration notworthy.gif If I am there again, am I welcome for an audition? smile.gif

I might be getting a SVS PB-13Ultra for my room. The PC-12 Plus will be shifted to the back of the room. Anyway, have to do proper acoustic treatment and bass trap so as not to vibrate my immediate neighbour's room. Probably need your expertise on that blush.gif

ycs, can I pay you a visit?

Can't compare between the SVS graph and mine since mine is in-room, whereas the SVS is probably ground plane. The test conditions are totally different.

Anyway, doing an in-room test is quite illuminating since it reveals how your room interacts with the sub. The effect of room gain and peaks and nulls will also become apparent.
*
I knew abt it but too busy to do so sad.gif . Need to have time to do that. Til now, I did not fiddle with the parametric EQ of my PC12+ sweat.gif sweat.gif

Yes, that's the rumour been going on abt this SB-16.

Btw, SVS price list (rough quote) is on SVS thread. Pg 38.

Thank you so much for the chart. So, I really do need bass traps as my current graph is almost like the second graph.
