Hi,

For those who are working in singapore, I was wondering what does the job market for chemical engineers look like?
I'm currently applying in malaysia, was hoping to get a job in singapore if possible.

In Singapore from what i see, chemical engineerings especially those with 2 or more years of experience are quite in demand.

I work in a pharmaceutical MNC, within like 6 months, the company hired like 4-5 chemical engineers over in the production side...

Not sure about the petrolchemical sector, i think should be the same situation bah.... biggrin.gif

Hello,
plan to join workforce in S'pore soon.

It is possible to drive a car with Malaysian plate number on a daily basis?
Just temporary , maybe for 2-3 months.

Is speaking mandarin provide better advantage? Most Singaporean speaks mandarin, not cantonese.

sure its possible... but it cost sgd20 per day for non-holiday. so u can do the math, like let say 1 month got 24 working days, so 24 X 20...

u gonna pay more than 1k rm a month ! n thats not including the parking fee. biggrin.gif
