If I dun convert to AUD, I straight convert to RM, I will get RM 6,000

If I convert to AUD 1st, I will get AUD 2,273, ok I will take AUD 2,273 bring back M'sia to convert to RM and I will get RM 6,364.

I will gain RM 364.

Usually i remmit money from SGD to MY. However, this time I need to do remiitance from MY to SGD, anyone got any idea how we can do this in msia especially melaka since i seldom see remittance service in msia?  If possible i would like to avoid bank as the rate normally is lower.

I just finished my Mechanical Engineering course... thinking of working in SG... but i have some questions...

Let's say if i get accepted by a company there, there will be a probationary period like one month or so right?
So if I have signed 1-yr contract for accommodation and 1 month later the company decides i'm not good enough, does it mean i'm screwed? has it occurred to anyone?

p/s: also, are phone interviews common for malaysians or is it a must to get to sigapore?
