Sigh cannot think later leh.. cos it's not a small amount if really bad luck enough to kena taxed.. i would be buying the shoe more expensive than i can buy from other shops also leh.. aih but i've asked my cousin to check if SG is selling any at my budget.. if got i'll get from SG.. i really want the classic black color leh..

Can anyone who bought boots from PDS or other sites online share your experience here whether your items were taxed or not? Wanna see what are the odds on taxing boots bought online..

I was in Singapore 2 days ago, the predators are not on sale at the moment. They're still marketing the black/red and white/yellow with no big discount in the Adidas retail store.

No use la if you check at Adidas stores cos the most they are only having a 10% discount here also.. should check on those sports shops as they tend to give more discounts, based on the owners' liking.. i want i want the Black Predator X!!!

just wondering....if you get tax...how much will it be? do they tax personal item??

No tax imposed on the boost purchased. I have experienced 2x purchasing boost from internet.

My experiences,

ebay - Adidas predator powerswerve FG (white) David Beckham version - RM650 nett (From HongKong)

PDS - Adidas predator powerswerve XTRX power version - RM400 nett (From UK)


No tax imposed on my item so far and item reach my door step in good condition (as previous photo attached). PDS is offering very good range of pricing. I just missed out the latest Predator version. If not mistaken, now selling at only £95 nett only or maybe even lower as new year sales is going on!

Thanks soundstream for sharing your experience with us.. actually i can get 25% discount @ RM547 from a shop here in Ipoh as i know the owner and bought a few previous Preds from him.. but he only ordered the White/Yellow and he also tried to specially order the classic Black/Red for me but then he said can't get it.. then Giotto told me about PDS selling at £82.61 and i've calculated that it's only RM536 @ a 5.7 rate plus shipping, much cheaper!

Well the thing is i'm really worried that the item will get taxed after i heard my friend kena taxed on his jerseys bought from Kitbag and some parcels sent by his Aunt from US.. cos if kena tax, it might be 30% the max and then i would be stupid to buy the shoe at RM700 already.. but then now you said u bought boots twice n din get taxed.. is there anyone else who bought boots online? I'm worried they will tax my shoe now as it's around Xmas and New Year time..

So far i bought 2 pair of shoes, i never kena tax and i've bought countless number of jerseys online, also never kena tax before. Touch wood! While some people first time buy jersey, already kena tax. So what im trying to say here is that, luck is an important factor.

Having said that, if i were you, i would buy it online now simply because the traffic load during Xmas/New Year period is always much more than usual. As such, customs is inclined to quickly release the imported goods because they wanna clear the backlog of items entering the country. Its the same as people walking thru the airport. When there's a huge number of people passing thru the customs, the officers either just selectively stop a few people to check their baggage. Either that or they quickly do a rough check on the bags as there's too many people going thru and they dont wanna jam up the whole airport by checking every single person and start to tax on the items he's bringing. However, when the airport is empty, the customs can stop every single person and check their bags thoroughly and would not hesitate to tax any taxable items coz they have all the time in the world to do it.

Oh you're very lucky huh.. don't know why my friend so unlucky kena taxed on jersey sumore USD100!

I thought during festival time they know there will be alot of parcels sent here and there and that's when they wanna tax every item to get more money for the government from there haha.. however what you said does make sense too.. ermm now i feel like ordering tonight liao la haha.. damn still scared la.. RM700 if kena tax!

as far as i know...the cost RM jersey buy from KITBAG cannot exceed RM500 (according to the Custom). My friend bought 2 jersey from kitbag cost RM750. RM150 tax was imposed to that amount.

So, be wise buy below RM500 to aviod tax.

For Preds, so far so good for me.

RM537 for a Pred X is a very good price !~

Guys, after much considerations i finally put my guts into purchasing the Adidas Predator X from PDS after listening to giotto's & soundstream's experiences and advices.. i'll just have to pray hard for the next 5-7 days that the item won't be taxed.. fingers crossed!

Haha super messi, would like to help you but i can't be bias as i've only worn the Adidas Predator for the past 10 years.. so i'll definitely say go for the Predator although i've never tried the other 2 haha.. anyway i know and has felt (by hands) that the AdiPure is damn comfortable with the good cushioning inside.. Nike, nahh i'm an avid fan of Adidas lolx.. anyway since u like Messi so much, why don't u go for the F50i TUNIT for the SPARK?

i would love to buy the F50i....but my friend bought one and it has a lot of trouble.
he keep losing his studs while playing and the leather is easily torn....since i'm looking for durability than looks...so i think i'll go for the predator....currently using f30
