QUOTE(nshady @ Dec 5 2009, 07:37 PM) The players have only used them for training only so far? Can't find them on websites like kitbag.com The new T90 only debuted on 12th December la bro. Torres is the only player saw using the boot. LFC really spoil the T90 boot's suspense. XD

Its no surprise that the boots are worn before they're launched. In fact, i'm pretty sure tonnes of R&D and testing are done by the actual players, before they are launched to the general public and are worn for the games.
I think Rooney will also wear the new T90. Any players donning the current T90 will naturally wear the new one too. As usual, Nike will launched like a hundred different colorway for this pair of boots.

Agreed but shouldn't the boots always kept hidden first, away from cameras until it's launch date? And of course Rooney will wear it, he is always the poster boy for T90. Dunno if change to Torres already haha.

Its the same as why William Gallas is wearing Mercurial Vapor since he's a defender. Players wear whatever they feel comfortable. Torres can wear Crocs to play if he wishes too, as long as he still scores and doesn't get injured from wearing them.

I believe Torres is more of a power striker, though he undoubtedly has the pace. I'd say the total 90's suit him, take a look at his goals. Some poachers, but very lovely long range goals. I'm gonna get the AdiCore in a few weeks I guess, anyone knows where can I find a warehouse sale?

Hi, i would like to ask about futsal shoes. I've searched through Nike website and found that Nike 5 can be played in indoor court and indoor turf? IS this true? That is the results i get using recommendation.
By the way, can the Nike 5 and CTR indoor court be used for jogging and walking when you're not futsal-ing?
I need a futsal shoe and i need a running shoe as well due to my running shoe just spoiled recently...so in short i need both shoes...haha...

Answer is yes, but it won't be suitable. I think that should answer your question.

Haha, couldn't get anymore direct that this, slyyoung.
I'm gonna be nicer tho.
My answer is NO you can't. Jogging shoes are supposed to offer maximum cushioning, therefore any other jogging shoes you see in the market have thick padding and thick outsole and some even with shock absorption outsole. Plus, the tip of the shoe are normally rounded and curved upwards to provide the momentum when jogging.
Go get yourself a pair of shoes for futsal and another pair for jogging, my friend.

Haha I'm gonna give you a 3rd opinion.
I own a pair of Nike5, T-5. And yes, it can be used for any surface.
For jogging, I've actually used it when my running shoes were spoilt and I was sort of in between buying shoes. So, yes. For short term you CAN, but I don't think it's very good for your feet cause futsal shoes tend to be much thinner to give you more feel, and won't be enough shock absorption.
Maybe you can use it till you buy some jogging shoes, but don't wait too long.
