where shop provide personalization at shoe?
just think to buy nike t-3 with my name tongue.gif

At this point, Nike in Malaysia don't provide this service but i'm not sure if other standalone shops would have this kinda service or not. There are some sports store in Pertama Complex that has lots of customisation service but so far i've not heard of personalising the boots.

Not true bro. Adidas and Nike boutiques do carry higher-end futsal shoes like Salas and T7s.
*
While Nike has buck the trend by bringing in the T7's, the same cannot be said about Adidas. We don't see any Predator Sala sold here. We don't see any Adipure Indoor sold here. With Nike, they brought in literally every futsal shoes available in market.

You will see one of such Higher end futsal shoes soon...  laugh.gif
No worries... then your question shall be answered...

Sala 7 is among one of the lighter shoes around. If thats heavy, you might have to consider getting a customized shoes already.

Shoes, as much as we like them to be light, there must be a certain weight to it. First, the lighter the shoes, the less protection it offers to your foot. Secondly, your kicking strength in a lighter shoes will decrease slightly as compared to wearing a heavier shoes. Heavier object when moving will carry bigger momentum. The bigger the momentum you carry, the harder you strike the ball thus the faster the ball travels. But thats not saying you should go all out to buy the heaviest shoe around coz that would hinder your running speed also.

I've never seen any Total 90 Shoot II IC that has the rubber thingy made of rubber, sold in Malaysia at least. For futsal shoes, they've always made it from synthetic material, the fake rubber look.

But if you're talking about the Total 90 Laser II, then yes, its made of rubber but thats in the boots since the first day they launch it.

Yes, newer ones are made of rubber this time.

Rob,
Wow, you sure their futsal shoes has that rubber thingy at the front now? Which colorway has that?

But really, those rubber thingy at the front of the shoes do nuts to your shooting technique. Absolutely no extra curl and i doubt any social futsal players here can lay claim that shooting accuracy is better, unless you're Rooney or something. Having worn the Adidas PS Sala for close to a year now, i must say the rubber thingy hasn't done much in terms of shooting but in totality, the shoes is light.

Zan,
Don't make me sliding tackle you Vieira style, the next time we play.

Eh, i'm a good GK ok. I only conceded 2 of the 6 goals last Sunday. Thats only one third.

So far for futsal shoes, Nike only carry the Nike Mercurial Veloci 5 IC. The latest colorway is in black with yelow swoosh.

I was just browsing thru the Nike latest range and colorway of MV5 football boots, the black and yellow swoosh. They have a freaking 5 range of MV5 for this colorway. Lowest range is the Nike Mercurial Veloci 5 followed by Nike Mercurial Steam 5, followed by Nike Mercurial Talaria 5, followed by Nike Mercurial Vapor 5 and the most expensive and top of the range being Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly. These 5 range are available in firm ground ans soft ground studs.

Gosh, buying a football boots is not easy with the choices you have. Its the thickness of wallet that matters now.

I can't agree with you dude nice design and quality. Cheap definitely yes.

Eepro is a complete rip off from Nike and Adidas design. I've seen a couple of dudes wearing them for futsal and can't help but realise how similar it looks to Nike T90 Shoot and Adidas Adipure. I would have expect a certain degree of originality with the Eepro, they dont have an identity of their own. At least Figos has their own design.

Faisael,
If you don't mind the colorway of the boots, you can get the Air Legend 2 FG boots in Nike Sportsland retail outlet for RM279, while stocks last.

Really good deal if you ask me considering the fact the original price was RM 479 or something like that. The colorway is all black, much like the one Fabregas wore for a couple of match.

With old boots, you run the risk of premature wear and tear simply because the boots been kept too long. Even worst if you don't know the storage condition of the boots. The storage in Malaysia is normally inside a dark store room with humidity, so expect the leather to have some defects, or the glue might not be as strong as brand new.

So be prepared for the worst, if you wanna buy old boots.

riziger, if you're playing as astriker, winger / SS I'd suggest you get mercurials. The tiempos are more for midfielders, there's gonna be a difference.

If you do quick sprints and such, mercurials are the way to go. I've seen those with the lace covers(2nd grade) go for rm200. i think its the version where the mercurials were blue in color.

Honestly speaking, for us social players, i doubt its gonna make a difference whether you're striker or midfielder or defender wearing any other boots. If you ask me honestly, i'm just gonna tell you buy the boots that is most comfortable to your feet. Get the one which gives good arch support and comfort on the heels. Thats the 2 most important aspect of buying, not whether you play midfield or striker.

Not everyone of us here can take MV's in the sense that the shoes are pretty narrow, so if you have big feet, you're not gonna enjoy wearing one. Secondly, i've heard of cases of bad blistering while wearing MV's. In saying that, i'm not implying they're a bad pair of boots, just consider your options before ploughing your cash on this pair of shoes.

I happen to notice that Nike Malaysia don't bring in the T7's anymore. They've launched the new colorway, that is the bright orange ones. I can only find T1,3,5 but definitely no T7. Unless of coz its out of stock.

Maybe its price issue, thats why they're marketing the T5's as their high end instead of the very pricey T7's.

Anyways, those gotten the T7's are a lucky bunch. Initially i thought i would wait till they launch a T7 colorway that i like, while waiting for my current Adidas futsal shoe to spoil. Seems like they're not bringing in T7's anymore, thus dashing my dream to own one.

my friend whom i play futsal has the T5's in the bright orange colour. sad to say we people in malaysia don't like buying high priced futsal shoe it seems. i was hoping that adidas malaysia would have brought in the adiPure I's indoor but they didn't. even F30 indoors they hardly bring it in. all giving us low quality futsal shoes.
haha, you're one unlucky person. what colour are they ? the bright orange ones ? oh ya prodirectsoccer has some interesting new colours of the T3 and T5

Maybe its the lack of demand for T7. If the price is too high, less people can afford it, sales will be bad and they won't bother to bring in more. Fact is, not many people can afford to dump RM359 on a pair of futsal shoes.

Real question is, are the T7's not in demand? If it isn't, how come the yellow and green ones are being sold out so quickly?

Dude, first you got the shop name wrong. Secondly, your sources better be real good source, not just any chilli or ketchup sauce.

As far as i know, Al Ikhsan's jerseys are all genuine, and i've been their customer for the past 5-6 years, especially the one in BB Plaza, and i've personally not seen any fake jerseys. I think there's some misunderstanding from your sources.

Err, i think its not too difficult for you to head over to one of those girls accessory shops like Sinma or even some pasar malam stalls. Im sure they sell them.

I've even seen headbands sold in Nike, but prepare to pay 10 times the normal selling price in pasar malam.

Its no surprise that the boots are worn before they're launched. In fact, i'm pretty sure tonnes of R&D and testing are done by the actual players, before they are launched to the general public and are worn for the games.

I think Rooney will also wear the new T90. Any players donning the current T90 will naturally wear the new one too. As usual, Nike will launched like a hundred different colorway for this pair of boots.

How come Torres dont wear Mercurial? Speed based strikers normally do...

Btw, I need recommendation for football boots, looking for a new pair, budget RM150+/-.
I like to dribble past people tongue.gif So a combi of speed and touch...

Its the same as why William Gallas is wearing Mercurial Vapor since he's a defender.

Players wear whatever they feel comfortable. Torres can wear Crocs to play if he wishes too, as long as he still scores and doesn't get injured from wearing them.
