I still remember when I had the adidas predator mania for 499.
The prices currently doesn't justify the boots' performance la. Right now I see worth paying your hard earned bucks are the AdiPure/Core. Those are actually football boots.
Don't get me wrong, technology embedded into the boots are great, but I'd say the F50 has gone overboard in terms of functionality which boots should be a second skin, not car engines where you tune it much, predators has gone way too ugly and I say the weights in the predators won't do much good if you can't actually kick the ball.

riziger, if you're playing as astriker, winger / SS I'd suggest you get mercurials. The tiempos are more for midfielders, there's gonna be a difference.
If you do quick sprints and such, mercurials are the way to go. I've seen those with the lace covers(2nd grade) go for rm200. i think its the version where the mercurials were blue in color.

I have to be specific with my boots, I've played since I was 5 and now Im 20. 15 years and many football boots in between, I've tried 3 generations of predators , one 1st gen total 90 , mercurial III, and to me the predators suit me the best. (The total 90s I had, I couldn't even kick the ball properly.) Im talking Beckham era predators, not the ones now that are wide-fit. I have narrow feet, and nike's tiempo does not suit me at all.
Im gonna go for the MV's (talarias/ veloci ) after Ramadhan, and i'll tell you how it goes. Even though you're a normal weekend player, it doesn't mean that you can't have the best.

I believe Torres is more of a power striker, though he undoubtedly has the pace. I'd say the total 90's suit him, take a look at his goals. Some poachers, but very lovely long range goals. I'm gonna get the AdiCore in a few weeks I guess, anyone knows where can I find a warehouse sale?

Hey guys, was wondering. Any of you used the Sala and the T-series from nike? Was thinking of getting either, but the T-3 seems to tickle my fancy since its very low ( I prefer those )
Looking at the TOP/ Super Sala, vs the T-series. ( which t series is the highest? T7? )

They're not using the..."sanitary pad" panels anymore!
Hows the response to a kick? soft ? hard? What about the bounce?

I don't particularly prefer those shinguards that extend all the way as you posted. The sole of the foot feels weird, and you wouldn't have a natural kicking position.. or to me atleast. I usually play with those small ones, I have long legs myself, but I prefer those small ones, yet they are enough to keep me protected, those that come with straps. ( Without them they'll slide all the way down lol).

QUOTE(plokoon @ Nov 21 2010, 10:28 PM) Loose socks! Or you could just use tape wrap it around ala Cristiano Ronaldo. They were tight, but with constant running + sweat on the shinpads, it'll slide down no matter what
