some problems i noticed with 5800;↲1. auto rotate wont work. Need to restart few times then it'll be ok for few days.↲2. When u transfer mp3 thru usb cable, music player cant pick it up in playlist. Best thing to do is transfer using bluetooth.↲3. Built-in IM cant use wifi, which is quite a joke for me.↲4. Camera is very disappointing. Not a reliable point n shoot cam phone.↲5. If u set wallpaper from memory card, it'll go missing everytime u remove the card or connect the phone to usb.↲↲However the plus points are; big screen, acceptable touch screen response, quite easy to operate with 1 hand and the gps reception is very good for a mobile phone.↲↲Hopefully future fw will rectify the problems.

2. Did you refresh the list in the first place? Once you enter the music player > options > refresh library
3. everyone else's problem too so use 3rd party like sling,slick etc

I have problem with mini qwerty cant be used sometime but after restarting the phone it back to normal dunno why??... I'm using default phone memory themes.... hmmmmm maybe because I used file transfer cable before that??? anyone having this kind of problem?

i have tried update the firmware through phone. But it didn't give me the option to choose either from 3G,GPRS or wifi. It just come out with a message said internet connection needed and need to be charge depends accordingly. why is it a? i tok we can choose connection type?

and i make a mistake when i purchase the tube. IT seems that mine one didnt come with chinese simplify input option. maybe because it is not a original unit. Can i bring it back to the seller to add on the chinese input option or not?

1) If u have an existing connection to the internet while doing the updating, might be tube not prompt you the option of the connection, and vice versa.
2) AP set has varies product code, and the firmware update upgrade the language accordingly to your product code, let's say you have South Africa product code that not even have Chinese language, then your tube will not have the Chinese feature. Unless your phone is from China, HK, TW, MY, etc.

For bring it back to the seller, I don't have much thought of it because I haven't experience that. Maybe u can send it.

try reset ur device/or upgrade ur FW...

how to u kill Garmin? i tried but it stays at the menu after u press & hold the white button.

yup i did. apparently some users is uk/europe having same problem also when i googled it up.

and another problem is, if u see my post earlier, the 'return' wont go to a new line instead leaving symbols there. that post earlier was made with my 5800.

Started using mobifun soft settings today. Really cool, can customize a lot of icons and also can unlock the phone using the menu key, trying to customize that even more. So no need to unlock from the side anymore Sad thing it is Euro 4.50. But ahem ahem... uncle google. This is the competition going on at dailymobile for the software at the moment:

Added on June 11, 2009, 10:35 amOk you can define any buttons to unlock the phone. Just set mine to "call" button followed by "end call button" to unlock the phone. This is so cool

sure solved the problem, but i'm still confused why 5800 having this problem. my n82 and my wife's n81 are not having this kind of simple flaw. maybe they forgot when they busy programming new fw.

love playing games with the phone though. now my kepala senget already main game kete racing tu...

Guy, I encounter this issue, when ever i connect to my blue tooth head set, for while it stable, but in few minutes, it automatically disconnected and reconnect back, this thing go on for few times until I off the hp set and on back then ok. I faced this issues last couple of day. Have anyone face this problem ? Is software issues ?

So far this is what it can do:

1. you can program the phone to unlock using any keys, or combination
2. program the music express button to open this application
3. when this application opens it is full of shortcuts
4. it does not consume much RAM at all as evident by my 51.2 mb free RAM while the app is still running

Conclusion: a must have app for the 5800 XM. If anyone wants to know more (about the app, or how to get the app) feel free to PM me. Screenshots as follows:

please be specify like what type of bluetooth device? whats your phone firmware? Is your bluetooth ori or imitation.

Because i tested Bh-503 , BH100 and a few motorola bluetooth no such issue wo
