thanks for the advise. Don't understand why shops are bringing PAL sets when we are getting the US wii.
*
Actually, I have the Pal Set myself. SELLING it even.

See, the PAL sets are actually Australian ones that are imported to Malaysia, and then the game gets changed to the US version.

price should be above RM 700. But if cheaper, go and snag it. tongue.gif

From my experience, those shop sellers do not understand how the unmodded console and region lock works. To them is just modded console can play all sorts of thing. Of course they tell you NTSC-U console can play PAL games, because it does for modded console.
This is one of the reason they bring PAL console over, just mod it and ta-da!!

Thanks for the explanation.

I see. So it is OK to get the kit if they change the disc to US version.

If they change the software/game, then yeah its fine. The instruments were never tied to any region.

Yeah, like my Wii Fit Plus was originally Korean set bundle, and then the shop exchange the game disk to the NTSC-U.
But is PAL-A kit chaper than NTSC-U kit to bring them into Malaysia? Australian Dollar is higher than US Dollar now though...

Greeting,

I'm newbie here, recently a friend recommend wii fit to enhance my fitness regime. From what i gather i cud do yoga/jog/etc plus using it. I hve playstation 3 at home. My questions are (I did read previous threat but too long to go each one of them):

1. For wii fit or wii fit plus - what is the complete set & how much it going to cost me. Can I get it from you?

2. Does playstation have similar offer by upgrading it? (so sorry if this sound silly, coz i'm not interested in games (even thought my hubby & dotters does) more for fitness assistance only.

Thank you.

Erh... I'm puzzled who are you asking actually. hahaha.

1. Wii Fit Plus is the complete set. The price is Rm 350.

2. Hurm, a similar offereing, they would have, but you'd have to purchase the move controller. The fitness regimes that are available for your perusal would be EA Sports Active 2.

To Boss Kyo:
You have to add the price for Wii console too, because flow3r has a PS3 not Wii, getting a Wii Fit Plus w/Balance Board only is not going to make him any good tongue.gif
Anyway, currently PS3 doesn't have accessories like balance board. IMHO, PS Move is good but for fitness genre balance board is still the greatest; and not only Wii Fit Plus, there are plenty of fitness genre titles out there for Wii.

Dear WII gurus,

I updated my Korean set 3.2U via system update and now its bricked with error 003 unauthorised device detected when powered up. Don't ask me why I did that ... sad.gif

Can anyone advise how to recover ? I have seen some guides which require a game cube controller. Anyone have experience in this ?

Appreciate your help .. thanks

We're unsure with that. Your best bet is to take it to a shop and get it recovered. huhu.

If you have the box, check the top right of the box. If its 3 bars, then its Korean.

A better way is through the back of the console. Type out serial number onto google and then check back through the Wii Wikipedia. It was explained before, but I seem to have forgotten about it.

If you are getting full original, get it from reputable trader such as Kyoyagami... that's all you need to concern.

You can only play games from the PAL region which is very hard to find in Malaysia.
