Hello everyone, I need some help, I just bought a Wii from US via order through a friend, and I found out that the Wii [US] requires 110 volt to run, as our country supports 220-240 volt, I am afraid that if I plug in the adapter to the socket it may blow my Wii or the adapter, what should I do [recommendation]? Should I get a Official 220-240volt Wii AC Power Adapter or get a step-down transformer [Recommend me a good one please]. All help is appreciated thank you.

Post Script: My Wii power requirement says 12V ~ 45 Watts.
i have a US wii too. and i have both. when i take my wii on trips i use a china made ac power adapter. when my wii is at home i use the transformer.
ac power adapter: bought china made for about 40rm. so far no issues and i have been using it for > 1 year. if u want peace of mind get the original, but its very hard to find. i believe the brand was Wu.
transformer: bought it for 100rm, it also doubles as a surge protector for those thunderstorm days. i don't think brand matters coz there are so many in the market. but if u must know i can peek at my transformer tom morning. right now i'm too lazy to walk to my living room.
what do i recommend. well the ac power adapter seems like the cheaper solution. and it works even though in the internet there are some horror stories. but to me it works no issues.
