do you guys think 2-3k is enough to built a small cabinet for a kitchen inside a small condominium?

I have to think to have a black and white color very simple cabinet for upper part maybe 3 drawer and 3-4 drawer in the lower part with a 3 small drawer in one of a column.

Oh dear me...my installation was finally done yesterday. It was up to my expectations except for one mistake (but a good mistake) was my 'island/worktop' where they did 3ft instaed of 2ft. I initially asked for 2ft was because I didn't want to cover the drainage outlet in my kitchen. However, after discussing with my hubby we took the 3ft as we need the extra working space as my kitchen is very small.

After doing my house kc..they went downstairs to my mom's (we live in the same block) to fix her bookshelf with doors. However, my mom is not too happy with the workmanship as the bottom part (near the legs) instead of covering with the same colour wood as the bookshelf (white), they used my colour (dark brown). Their reason is that there's not enough wood. Secondly, the shelves could be pulled out. My mom said that it shouldn't be that way (she has a similar cabinet done by a different contractor & the shelves can't be moved/pulled out an inch).

Even though it's not an excuse..it could be because they did my mom's cabinet after mine and they were pretty tired.

I'll be informing UD about these and see if it can be rectified.

If you have concrete top...they just install the KC door only.
While if you want to install granite/solid surface...then they need to have 4 side panel to support the table top. so tis is more expensive.

You are right...they definitely have to monitor this forum.

Your colleagues and friends...happy with the result? UD must be very busy..coz lots of recommendations. I hope they can cope.

BTW, my next project is walk-in wardrobe..but only do next year....koyak liao..definitely will ask UD again. In fact, there's a whole list of projects..built-in shoe cabinet, bookshelf, bar...wish got $$$ to do all at once..but looks like have to do slowly.
