Hi,
I notice your countertop for the Hob is slightly (2-3 inch?) lower than the countertop for sink. Is that design by purpose to cater for feng shui? (because according to chinese feng shui the hob - fire level should be lower than the sink- water level, sort of)
Nowadays I saw a lot countertop design is flat level for both hob & sink, therefore i am puzzled how to figure the 'water' and 'fire' level.....is the sink or the water tap considered the 'water' level?
Need advice from sifus here

Hi there,
The reason is that the top with the sink was actually done by previous owner (without doors), so now i'm adding on the doors and the hob side plus the cabinets below and above. No Feng Shui reasoning...kekeke..
This is only the initial drawings based on my measurement and info that i gave to them when I visited the showroom. I'll be calling them for site measurement as I think they need to see what are the existing fixtures in my kitchen - ie there's a gas pipe (my apartment has centralised gas pipe to every unit). It's located at where the gas hob is going to be..so I think they will have to figure out how to incorporate those things.
Sigh...this is my first reno..and i'm still learning and it's not easy...thank god for this thread. REally need all your advise.
wrb7878, with whom did you do your kitchen with?
