I asked maxis they told me Machines will be repairing Iphone 3g after the warranty ends. If under warranty its a 1 to 1 exchange for the phone.

So i walked to machines and enquire about the price to repair the phone, they tell me maxis is responsible for repair and they will not repair the iphone.

PENING!

who is repairing the phones after the warramty ends? I signed up for 2 year plan.. and warranty is 1 year..aiyoyoyoy..

might be sum misunderstanding...i thought machines could repair the phone...but u gotta pay for it aite? (since ur warranty is over)

anyway once the warranty has lapsed, you are not bound in any way to preserve your iPhone's "condition" as stipulated in the agreement.

after the warranty period, the iPhone can still be repaired, and we do still need to request for a replacement set / replacement parts via the authorised carrier (here, that's Maxis)

so u guys order the parts for the iphone and repair locally? so far how many iphones have u repaired?

i was wondering if its possible to change the SHELL of my iPhone 3g, since my chrome bezel is kinda scratched and the back part of my phone is scratched too. :3

if its possible to change, how much will it cost? anyone any idea? thanks.

currently, all Maxis iPhones are repaired @ Maxis centres

My iPhone(Maxis set) have a tiny crack INSIDE the glass screen. I have no idea how this happen maybe i drop it.

I wonder can send in to warranty? pls help

they'll check it out... if its damage, then you'll need to pay for the repair.

Yes recently my iphone developed some hairline cracks after 2 months. Just got an acceptance to replace my iphone 3g white. Damn Im just so happy!!!! Of course still under warranty but if lets say they do after warranty like what petergoh (xaw 5126) mentioned then that will be awesome!

I've bought a Iphone 3G maxis set from one of lowyat user and he bought with maxis contract so my question now is can i claim warranty without any problem(if my iphone spoil) or i need to bring him along??TQ

i think u need to bring him along. im a digi user and when i bought mine from maxis, my bro is required to use his ic to register because he is a maxis user. and the next time i bring my phone for repair, the ppl there ask me to leave my bro's ic and the warranty card and will not repair without his ic

How long will it take for a 1 to 1 exchange during warranty period?
My iPhone 3g battery won't fully charge, always until 80%. Wonder if I should request for a replacement..
