I guess I'm in no luck. My white 3GS has that famous hairline crack at the audio jack. Anyone has claimed warranty for that before?

why don't you hit back to switch outlet or any apple outlet and ask them . see what they can do

since they already stop selling 3GS 16gb and 32gb, how are them gonna handle the warranty for those machines which haven't reach a year old yet? no choice but to let them fix it? no more 1 on 1 exchange liao?

i dropped my iphone and my screen is now CRACKED!!! anyone can repair here?

hi,i'm new ot the forum....anyone has any idea of what damage could it possibly be when my charger was burnt at the point of starting charging ? i used the 2-pin charger which i think can't stand the excessive/unstable power supply in my hoouse.....

just got back from Maxis KLCC..the guy told me that a cracked glass panel will cost u MYR700..and say if got water mark will cost me MYR1400...i was like..."HUH?"..wasnt apple cancel the void watermark..try to cheat me huh? later go to this kedai he recommend..MYR300 for glass panel..hurmm that quit ok..
but need to confirm with Maxis Manager first..shud i claim the warranty or not...mine just expired 11 days..sigh..

bro vr sorry to say bt my friend had problem to claim back warranty for his 3gs after the warranty period over even after a few days.in the end he couldn do anything juz take to shop for repair.

i sent my iphone claim for warranty at maxis centre yesterday
problem : home button less responsive
better claim nw cuz warranty near expired,april 2011,hehe
that maxis guy accept it and told me i need to wait around 2weeks-1month
now counting days ..

My 3Gs already expired long ago...
the symptom of the issue is not jz battery deterioration...
if u hav some extensive app running (say: GPS, FB, Game)
it could suddenly goes off in sudden, n would be difficult to start again...
it will turn on...then u ll see the logo loading...then its either off again...
or it will get into home screen if u lucky enof after few tries...

if it can't start...i need to get a cable to connect it to power up...(i call it jump-start phone =.=")

should i send back to maxis for refurbish unit?
i do intend to repair it then use it for 2nd phone or my family if they want it...

i just wanna ask, anyone here know whr to repair iphone 3gs around wangsa maju or genting klang area? prefer nearby area from wangsa maju, lowyat plaza will cost me around 1 hour to reach as i'm using public transport.

they will not entertain you even if your warranty is over by a day, unless you willing to pay for the repair.

I published about this quite a bit when 3.0 came out. 3.0 ballsed it up. If I convert off wireless it balances but I would still say the iPhone's wireless party is partially less interval now with 3.0 (and wireless disabled). If I try to use the Distant app with wireless on it simply drops wireless completely. wireless use in common is shaky at best with wireless allowed...best iphone 4 bumper case

Jailbroken before, dec 2012 change phone, put this hp aside. last month found its battery swelled. manage to pay to fix it, but den I forgot its jailbroken and went to select upgrade software! den kong. the repair guy said cannot fix liow, motherboard dead. he refund my batt $ and now left with a useless piece...

Who wants? the back housing still good, all the while have casing protect... touch screen ok. button ok, LCD repair guy said a bit bend but when return to me was still touchable.
