hello,

I hv a 40gb white sgpore ps3 set. My problem is with the blu ray drive.
The drive works perfectly in detecting and loading bluray games from the XMB.
The problem is when I'm in the game. After playing a while, the disc will stop spinning and the game just hung.
I could hear a 'thud' sound in the bd drive continuously. Is my blu ray drive dead?

I currently live in Ipoh. So where is the best shop that i can sent for repair?
How much that i hv to fork out?

about the thud sound, yes, sounds highly likely your drive is 'dying'. replacing the harddisk yourself might do the trick. gives u a chance to upgrade to a higher capacity one too! and u only have fork out about 100+ for it depending on the capacity.

aku student, so leh main dalam 4 hari je sminggu..
skali main tu tak lebih dari 4 jam.. satu hari main dalam 2 kali..
aku rasa ada byk lg gamers main lg lama dr aku, tp tak kene2 gak YLOD nieh.. sweat.gif
