QUOTE(Yapmy @ Dec 8 2009, 04:33 PM)
hey i got a question regarding the car tyres. As far as i know, Myvi comes stock with 14" 175 tyres. I also plan to use 14" 185 but can it be done on the stock rim?
*
yeap,perfectly fine.
i'm using Michelin XM1 185/60 handling thumbup.gif
compared Sime Tyre 175/65 doh.gif
feel more grippy & stable on dry/wet due to bigger width...
take bend/corner much more confident..

QUOTE(Nelson88 @ Dec 8 2009)
I would say this is a normal thing as petrol do expand and contract and in addition, digital meter are not that precise compare to analogue.. Notice sometimes when u turn off the engine the one bar that already dropped will appear back when you start your engine again later?? Waa, u're a really heavy foot driver, I do drive like that sometimes when I'm rushing to my class but not most of the time.. Juz wondering how's ur fuel consumption like??
*
exactly same thing, after turn off ignition....restart engine back...previous reading bar gone up again.
mine fuel consumption about 370-380km before drop to last blinking bar.

Just came back from 1st service at the Perodua Service Center at Petaling Jaya (Jalan 19/1). Total time took about 2 hours (8:30-10:30).

Good
- Lobby and waiting area is clean and well maintaned.
- Counter staff are polite and friendly. They also speak good English.
- You can watch your car being serviced from the waiting area through a large window.

Bad
- Limited parking space - lots of cars even on a Wednesday morning
- Water dispenser in waiting area not refilled, almost empty
- Toilets are clean but small
- Counter staff will not tell you they add optional stuff in 1st service unless you ask

Total price I paid was 177.00, because they included optional stuff and I used my ATM card to pay.

QUOTE(Nelson88 @ Dec 8 2009, 11:39 PM)
I'm going for my 56k service soon and I notice something amiss with my car... When the car is at idling and the fan is turn off, I notice my rpm drops till like 0.55k and the engine like vibrates a bit and feels like wanna shut off a bit.. The prob is not very serious but I haven't got this problem before this.. From my experience from my other frens car (not myvi) it's because the throttle body needs cleaning d.. Am I right about this??

Another thins is that I did helped out some1 to jump-start his car about a week back in a parking garage.. The jump-start failed then the guy decided to transfer my battery to his car to start-up then transfer back the engine to my car.. This was done with my engine turned off.. Could this be the cause of it?? My battery is already 2 years plus (since I bought the car) and I think it's almost time to to change already also...

Sry bout this noob question but whats the difference with 65 or 60 or 55? i know 185 means that the tyre is wider but the other one? hmm.gif But its good to know that the stock rim can fit 185 tyres cuz im definately getting those.
