If you are willing to buy online they are readily available. But shipping very expensive

If budget is not your concern you can try this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nintendo-New-Famico...93%3A2|294%3A50

Haven't had any problem dealing with this seller before but make sure you use EMS

Hi everybody.
Okay, so yesterday my little brother bought a GBA SP from a store in lowyat. It's modded I guess, since it's preloaded with about 400 games inside, meaning can play without cartridge. So today I put my Pokemon Ruby cartridge inside it and it just shows a blank white screen. Is the GBA SP fake??? sad.gif
Help please, I don't know what to do... icon_question.gif

It might be possible that you got a clone GBA SP since I don't think it's possible to preload games in a original GBA SP. And BTW is your Pokemon Ruby genuine? All original GBA Pokemon games have their cartridges coloured according to their versions (Ruby uses a transparent red cartridge).

Oh my... there goes my brother's RM230! sad.gif What should I do now?

P.s: Yes my GBA cartridge is original; it works well on my GBA.

Umm... I see a triwing screw which means the unit is most likely genuine, and a flashcart has been integrated inside the unit itself. But it's possible that it also removes its ability to play cartridges. Have you tried blowing inside the slot/ cartridge or some other methods you used when the game doesn't load properly?

Yeah I did, but it's not working too. I guess I'll have to go back to the store, resolve this matter...

Yeap it is. Actually all of the stores/stalls in Lowyat Plaza are selling this type of GBA SP.
I'd rather if he didn't get anything; it's his upsr year this year... But then he saved all those money by himself, have to agree lorh~
