To put this in the nicest way possible, Ebay. The website for online auctions and rare items. goto http://www.ebay.com/type in "game boy color battery cover" and be prepared to pay anything from rm15 to 35 depending on how sadistic a seller you happen to meet.

There's lots of people offering paypal buying service in the Services Noticeboard section. You can ask them to buy it for you on eBay and have the item shipped to you. Gonna merge this thread with the retro consoles/ handhelds thread after 24 hours. This post has been edited by Pr1me_Minister: Jan 13 2011, 10:58 PM

As for alternatives in real physical stores, I can tell you that my hunt for a GBA battery cover in 2005 led me to the Golden Arcade in Sham Sui Po, Hong Kong. The shop was in one of the dark corners of the place, where the gutted innards of consoles past hung lazily from the ceiling. The shopkeeper was an old lady with a toothless grin and this loud grating voice.
paid about RM5.
needless to say its hard to find.

Sounds like something out of a hardboiled detective novel or a noir movie. I was expecting a blonde broad to pop out of nowhere, her eyes hidden under the shadow of the doorway that framed her, and blocking your exit. "You're not going anywhere with that GBA battery cover," she said in a sultry voice, but it was a voice that meant business. "Not today." Her hands were holding a gun and it was pointing at you. I'm currently scouting for old GBA titles that I have fallen in love. Playing PM's Astro Boy Omega Factor has so far been very wonderful that I think its a fantastic experience.
So, aside from Mario and Castlevania, what other great side scrollers that I can get for the GBA?

QUOTE(hyung7 @ Jun 29 2011, 04:57 PM) how to identify whether the game boy advance cartridge is genuine or not? worry if im buying a fake one Very very very easy, the word "Nintendo" is printed on the game PCB, you can see it from the cart connector side.

Anybody know where to get a GC memory card in KL? struck out at all the game shops in MidValley yesterday.
I recently got a Wii and wanted to play some old GC games I had from my GC-owning days, but it demanded a memory card for saving games. and I'll be damned if I'm going to play The Wind Walker straight through in one sitting.XD
