QUOTE(nubnub75 @ Feb 20 2010, 03:46 PM) Hi everybody. Okay, so yesterday my little brother bought a GBA SP from a store in lowyat. It's modded I guess, since it's preloaded with about 400 games inside, meaning can play without cartridge. So today I put my Pokemon Ruby cartridge inside it and it just shows a blank white screen. Is the GBA SP fake??? Help please, I don't know what to do... It might be possible that you got a clone GBA SP since I don't think it's possible to preload games in a original GBA SP. And BTW is your Pokemon Ruby genuine? All original GBA Pokemon games have their cartridges coloured according to their versions (Ruby uses a transparent red cartridge).

QUOTE(nubnub75 @ Feb 21 2010, 01:59 AM) Oh my... there goes my brother's RM230! What should I do now? P.s: Yes my GBA cartridge is original; it works well on my GBA. Picture?

Umm... I see a triwing screw which means the unit is most likely genuine, and a flashcart has been integrated inside the unit itself. But it's possible that it also removes its ability to play cartridges. Have you tried blowing inside the slot/ cartridge or some other methods you used when the game doesn't load properly?

There's lots of people offering paypal buying service in the Services Noticeboard section. You can ask them to buy it for you on eBay and have the item shipped to you. Gonna merge this thread with the retro consoles/ handhelds thread after 24 hours. This post has been edited by Pr1me_Minister: Jan 13 2011, 10:58 PM
