@ianho,your 2.4GHz is a prescott?Last 3 months ago,i tried to boot up my prescott 3.0GHz with Northwood heatsink fan,the temperature was idling at 45 degree C. When running Orthos, the temp rose to 60 degree C.
 I guess your quad core should be always lower than Prescott core. |

@kabu,i think the mobo still can go ahead until 3.6GHz with a mild o/c as i tried my 2.8C and it can reach about 3.4GHz like that with 240fsb pump in. If want to go higher i think need to pump more voltage to feed the proc.
