@powerwoot,so far the drivers in Win7 are working well on my rig and they are automatically installed even on my Audigy2 ZS.Should be any issue for P4 users to upgrade their OS to Win7.

QUOTE(ravewar @ Oct 11 2009, 02:35 PM) wow...the asrock new p4 board sure looks good... Hoho, nice proc over there though. The Q9x50 is really tempting in the L2 cache.Added on October 11, 2009, 2:39 pm @raymond, too expensive laaa Q9x50....gonan maintain my c2d 8400...but changing psu, gfx, casing, keyboard procs are too expensive to upgrade.... pokai d... QUOTE(fylon @ Oct 11 2009, 02:42 PM) Either 3.5GB or 3.25GB the maximum S478 platform can detect, depend on chipset. But ideal is 2x 1GB + 512MB *2 in order to unleashed the potential of DC. Were using this setup for few years before i turn to dark side. Never failed me. I'm another example here. QUOTE(AlexLee277 @ Oct 11 2009, 03:17 PM) ya P4 only can detect 3.25GB ram... Bottleneck is on every system depends on how huge is the bottleneck. My system has a bottleneck too!so if u got this setup P4 3.0 HT biostar P4M900 4GB 5870 there is a superb bottleneck u guys can see there Added on October 11, 2009, 3:19 pm nowadays HIS iceQ4 4850 is a recommended... |

QUOTE(AlexLee277 @ Oct 11 2009, 09:51 PM) it will have bottleneck... A Dual core on 9600GT and P4 3.2GHz on 9600GT will be easier for comparison. Dual core will drive 9600GT better.but u will not feel it except u are using 3Dmark to test it Dual Core + 9600GT will perform better than P4 3.2 + 9800GT QUOTE(Jcsy @ Oct 12 2009, 12:57 AM) but we will usually put 4GB, as in 2x2 for dual channel and bla bla bla.. but we will rugi coz will see less 3GB will be just nice for us to run optimal on our platform.unless u got 4 slots and u do 1gb + 512 + 1gb + 512 to each 3gb haha |
