I think the thermal paste will work immediately without any need to wait for fitting with the processor.

AI7 mosfet is hotter,can't the mosfet area be cool down? It's a good overclocking mobo. P4C800 non E version can clock but is not as good as the E version.

i've already sink the mosfet on ai7 still no use.does the o/c capabilities varies a lot between the E and non E version?

Should have a bit different in o/c capabilities,settings might be more compare to E and non-E version. E is the enhanced version from Asus.

@alex,o/c at your 533FSB proc? Don't expect much o/c from it but with 2-3MHz FSB increase only seems is a very limited performance to be clocked.

@V12Kompressor,my RAM is from Infeneon and it's a DDR333 only. 2*256MB.

@V12Kompressor, o/c is not that hard. Just need to push a bit on the FSB setting and you will get the proc and ram boost. A small margin boost like kahloon said will not harm the board itself.

Best mobo? Now you can't get them even you are interested to grab. I have long time not seeing people letting go high end mobo here already.

luckily my casing ngam-ngam oni...the board was so wide that it actually filled up the mobo tray! biggrin.gif

The board sure will fit in your casing one as long as ur casing is non small atx case.

seriously, I dunno what's the logic behind this.
Mind to shed some light? hmm.gif

Haha,i know that the slots are different on board. Design maybe will be cheaper cause lesser features.
