@kabu,same here. I have Audigy only,not X-Fi series. They have X-Fi series of course must take care off their toys.

@fylon,your CM690 by default also have quite good air circulation in the casing too.The casing itself has tiny holes to dissipate the heat from inside,won't it help much?

Loled edmin burn to him too...By the way is the CM690 having good air flow by default as the original design of the casing can help to dissipate heat too. Interested to get one unit in the future.

edmin,pros and cons over there...Well i don't mind to wipe out the dust there as my current casing is both side naked.

A few C is huge man. We can definitely see the inner is cooler than other conventional casing. Hopefully this year end can get myself a new one.

The old G92 is quite hot,can consider to upgrade to a newer one? edmin,am i correct? The add on some filter on the casing fan itself,i know the filter doesn't come cheap.

How you installed your Ultra90 during the first time? Is there another way to install the haetsink?

TIM in a line is going to use less thermal paste than our normal way? This is interesting.

Afternoon time spent a few hours to inspect my crap 2600XT ori cooler,reapply thermal paste still giving the same performance like before. The main point of it is the heat is exhausting at the rear GC itself.Stupid design from ATI. Changing the cooler to Cool Viva normal version with 1 heatpipe gave the worsen reading,temp shot up to 70+ C during idle. It is easy to climb to 80+ in a while.

I used this mobo before,this mobo is super stable without and issue. Cons is it can't be o/ced.

Nope,Intel 975X mobo can o/c too. Intel 865PERL can make adjustment only on RAM settings,nothing more.

Nope,don't use the AI Overclocking from Asus. Overclock manually by trying with the sotck vCore setting. I recommend you to set the RAM to 2.68V for your RAM. Lock the AGP and PCI ratio with a fix value.

Yuor RAM is Kingston brand? Should be able to run > 210FSB...That's weired.

kabu,there are some gems for P4 like Hynix D43 & BT-J series, TCCD and others. There is one crazy chip which needs 3.0V+ to run in high FSB,forgot the name though.

fylon,no point to get teh BH5 with DDR booster. It will occupy a place on the RAM slot.

@fylon,currently i'm running 4 sticks of RAM with 1:1 divider on 225FSB,quite happy with it as the performance mode is still on even with 4 sticks.

@fylon,no. My proc is limiting me. It will be unstable at 230FSB. Around 3.7GHz....

Which chip are you with? 1337 ram?

Oh DDR2 there. No wander...This is definitely confusing old schools.
