not yet. i think free stuff is very slow to arrive most of the time. yeah, not much to talk about p4 anymore. but i have some update. installed win7 ultimate on my p4 mobile (2ghz, 512mb RAM). very fast! zooom! rclxms.gif feels like a new laptop again thumbup.gif

p43 is alright, but is a step down from p45 (some process that cannot pass p45 stringent QC will be sold as P43). I would still get P35 though if not P45.

@ray,
seriously, u gotta try it out! the responsiveness is blazing fast like in XP and functionality wise is much better than xp.

@edmin,i try on my rig and i can feel the proc works harder than in Win XP but i do feel fresh because of it's more advance graphics and better functionality.

@alex,your mobo died? What you have bought recently?

many many bugs were squashed since RC. the kernel is optimised much further too.

i forget the mobo model... it is a MSI mobo, with both sata and IDE.. AGP 8x
nice 1... sudenly, last 2 week, i take it out and try, nothing happpen... no electric liao..
i have check every single wire...
all connected, chnage psu, ntg happen..
100% mobo faulty..
dayum, brought it for RM95 and use only ONCE while testing...

use to pair with 1 of my 1.7Ghz P4(duno is P4 or celeron)256Kb-L2

and i also purposely brought a MSI MX440 64MB for it...

@bai,IP35E,a good mobo too. Get your self a E8400? brows.gif Your Celeron 1.7GHz might be 128kb of L2 cache only if i'm not mistaken.

@alex,what is your next plan?Maybe you can get yourself a VIA based S478 mobo?
