but SHU's work ethics is very strong. something like a cheaper version of bolton. we need people like them to beat the top 4 every now and then. arsenal and liverpool lost and drew against them.

well, that's history anyway tongue.gif

I have lots of hope for Sunderland though.

There is only one keano! laugh.gif

Yeaps, I'm looking forward to seeing how Keano and Sunderland deals with the sudden hype over promotion into the Premiership. Can they be the next Reading? Who knows

The fine was adequate. It probably wiped out a significant amount of West Ham's transfer budget next season.
*
Not really. Not with the new TV deal which will give the clubs more money to spend.

Also rumours saying Curbs could have 45mil to spend if they managed to stay up:

Neil Warnock shall not be missed:

QUOTE
Adios Warnock you hypocrite
Written by Matt Ladson on May 13th, 2007

Neil Warnock and Sheffield United have been relegated. Good riddance to the moaning, loud mouthed hypocrite.

Warnock recently complained about Rafa Benitez's resting of first choice players in their game against Fulham and questioned Benitez's integrity as a manager. Warnock though was confident his chum Alex Ferguson would play a strong side against West Ham today as he has morales.

Well screw you Warnock, Ferguson played a bloody reserve team and lost - and because of that you got relegated.

But the hypocrite has selective memory, even according to former Sheff United manager Dave Bassett. Anyone remember Warnock playing a weakened team at Old Trafford as he saw it as a match lost already and rested players for bigger games like West Ham at home? Indeed.

Here's what Bassett had to say last week in the Yorkshire Post:

"Neil goes on about other teams fielding weakened sides, but he was not complaining when Liverpool put out a reserve side on the opening day of the season or when his side beat Arsenal's reserves over Christmas.

"Blimey, ****ne Wenger played Aliadiere, Flamini, Baptista and Hoyte which was probably the worst side Arsenal have put out this season. I think Neil Warnock has got a convenient memory. He should remember that he is four points better off thanks to Liverpool and Arsenal.

"Why should Alex Ferguson be bothered whether it is Sheffield United or West Ham who stay up? And why should Rafael Benitez be bothered when he is preparing his side for a Champions' League final? It is not their problem and, as a manager, you have to do what is best for your team."

Plus it was his own defender that sealed it for Wigan with that stupid handball. And they couldn't take down a weakened 10 men team at their own stadium? Warnock, since when did you ever rely on a favor and ignore your own game?

If it's a draw then goal differents doesn't make a differents cos SHU was on 38 while Wigan was on 35
