Might be Wigan........last season they got Jason Robert, Pascal Chimbonda,Jimmy Bullard, Graham Kavanagh and also Damien Francis which played very well but this season sweat.gif  rclxub.gif  hmm.gif
Let see the next fixture gonna be:-

Sheff Utd  v    Wigan

Man Utd  v    West Ham

Middlesbrough  v    Fulham

Wigan in deep shit man. They must beat Sheff Utd to stay alive and hoping MU can do them some favour by beating WHU. West Ham recent form been great and I can see them hold to a draw with newly champs, MU

bye bye Wigan

Here's the song dedicated to Wigan:

"..na, na, na, na....na, na, na, na....hey, hey, hey, goodbye.." whistling.gif

see you in 2009/2010 if you manage to return cool.gif

I think West Ham will just sneak through this time. I think Wigan will be relegated. WH and SU just need a draw and it's bye.gif to Wigan.

It won't be easy for Hammers as SAF confirmed full 1st team will play against them to avoid any potential controversy and complains from Jewell & Warnock.

But regarding WHU W/D/L at Old Trafford, I still think Wigan will go down because I don't think they will get the result needed at Bramble Lane.

Wigan definitely need a win to be safe. Anything less than that means bye.gif Premier League football for them.

But the stats doesn't favour Wigan at all. Sheffield United's home stats in 2007:

P 7 W 4 D 2 L 1 GF 11 GA 5 (DWWDLWW)

Wigan's away stats in 2007:

P 8 W 1 D 1 L 6 GF 6 GA 14 (LLLDWLDL)

Sheffield United also beaten Hammers at Bramble Lane 3-0 when Hammers was in quite good form. So, I guess its Championship football for Wigan next season.

MU may field a full side, but the MU players won't have much motivation to win.

Last home game of the season, infront of 76,000 crowds and the pending trophy presentation, it should provide more than enough motivation for them? wink.gif

but u forget west ham might be playing with their life to at least snatch a point. MU players on the other hand, will certainly try to avoid any injuries.

True but a win will be a better confidence booster ahead of the game at Wembley biggrin.gif

"We're playing West Ham and we are expecting a very tough game. It's our last home game of the season and it's one I'm sure everyone wants to be part of. I'm looking forward to celebrating in front of the Old Trafford crowd when we are awarded the Premiership trophy. Hopefully it will come after another good win - that would set us up nicely for the huge game to come at Wembley the following weekend."

The result at Old Trafford won't have any effect on West Ham, coz Wigan will get beaten at Bramall Lane for sure. I can't even see a draw there, SU will trash them easily.

THE RELEGATION EQUATION

Wigan will go down if they fail to beat Sheffield United

Sheffield United will go down if they lose to Wigan and West Ham draw or win against Manchester United OR if they lose to Wigan by three more goals than West Ham lose to Manchester United (eg Man Utd 1-0 West Ham, Sheff Utd 0-4 Wigan)

West Ham will go down if Wigan beat Sheffield United and they lose to Manchester United UNLESS Sheffield United lose by three more goals than the Hammers

I think its unlikely to see West Ham make it through this week as the celebration has to go on. Just pray hard for Sheffield.

And therefore, bye bye Wigan.
