lol r3 = made in china?

made in malaysia... hahaha

apparently, all R3 disc are made in japan, you can see clearly printed on the disc under the PS logo...
but im very sad that japanese BD manufacture right now making quality no better than China made...

from RE5 to MGS4...all disc got cracking symptom .


im scared sh!t right now...gotta buy plastic compartment to store my all my BD

Can we complain to Sony? its ridiculous that u buy a 200 bux game and it ends up cracked.....

i only have R1 games so i dono about other region....so far nothing crack or anything found suspicious....the only thing i found is the BD very clean and shine until my eyes hurt.... joking..

the only reason why the disc crack because of shipping....the item may fraud during shipping...

this is why the games like PS3 or any console games which was original suppose sell at retail store....those cheap game shop in malaysia I dont think even you show them or complain, they cant do anything, and cant return back and exchange for new one...sucks thou...

genuine games like PS3 suppose sell in retail store so we can return back within 1 month period if anything happen just go back return it for exchange or money back guarantee. Then after certain period of time, they will have clearance games sales. Expect to buy the PS3 games in RM 50...still you wont see this happen in malaysia.....

After a few survey with my friends, all their recently bought game do crack.
The most serious case is SF4, FIFA09 and RE5.

They didn't even notice the crack, until i show them closely.

Btw, all the above mention disc is Region3.

wow... very sad this things happened...
they're educating ppl about original discs would last longer.. now its the original disc that lasts shorter... ermmm... or is it because of the case ?
maybe newer games got more hardened plastic case? that's why it make that crack.

Just wonder, do the cracks affect the gameplay? I haven't had any disc that failed on me before so I never really check about the crack thing

but both are also tend to happen when the lens failed. so just make sure to double check disc first. Disc crack is quite a serious issue . Money will go straight to the drain

I just want to ask 1 question...
Does the disc cracked on the first day u bought it or it will take a few days after playing it?

My suggestion is, if the disc cracked at the first time u unwrap it, i guess on my next buy, i will unwrap and test the disc at the shop before bringing it home...

a bit off topic, if you guys don't wanna the disc casings just let me know ya? willing to buy it to replace my broken casing

I think TS did mention that crack appear more after he played couple of times, seems logic there is.. where the said disc spins fast and might effect even more upon the crack

where shop let you test the disc first if i may ask?

i checked all my games and i see all of them are in good condition, i think this problem is more to the way you handle your discs.
