Today, since is a holiday day, and nothing to do. So, i just wanna do a measurement on the crack line and check will my ps3 causing the crack line to extend.

I put the killzone2 disc in PS3, with roughly about 10-15 times to eject, insert, eject, insert, eject, insert, eject........and finally it load up the game.
Have an hour of Killzone2 online session, take the disc out.
And found that the crack line already silently extend into the data area for another 5mm.

I believe that if the disc already got crack sign, and we keep on playing it.
The crack line will keep on extend.

My killzone2 =.=, may u rest in peace.
And my others 2 disc, RE5, and SF4...will join the ceremony soon.

After a few survey with my friends, all their recently bought game do crack.
The most serious case is SF4, FIFA09 and RE5.

They didn't even notice the crack, until i show them closely.

Btw, all the above mention disc is Region3.

a bit off topic, if you guys don't wanna the disc casings just let me know ya? willing to buy it to replace my broken casing

I think TS did mention that crack appear more after he played couple of times, seems logic there is.. where the said disc spins fast and might effect even more upon the crack

where shop let you test the disc first if i may ask?

it's funny...yesterday i've play Mercenaries 2 for 6 hours.

after that i pull out the disc and touch it....it's not even hot at all.
