QUOTE(gundamalpha @ May 7 2009, 12:27 PM) So it's the snapping case causing all these? Honestly at first I thought the PS3 motor too big the penetrate the BD hole that caused this Have to be extra cautious taking games out from now on for now, yeah..it seem that the case. it've tried my Persona 4 dvd case and notice that the DVD release disc button is kinda soft compare to BD release disc button...and didnt snap as hard as BD case. Ya, the old cases just have to press the center to take out the disc. I always have difficulty taking disc out from the tight lock cases

On the subject of disc cracking, I assume most of you just put back your disc into the box directly after ejecting it from your PS3 right? Apparently, Blu-Ray discs are more vulnerable to heat and causes the disc to warp.
In which case introduces cracks as well.
I suggest you guys let your disc cool down for a few seconds first before putting it back into the case and then closing it. I've been doing it since a year and half ago when I got my PS3. Not a single disc I have had a crack yet using this method of letting the disc cool down first.
