hye, anyone of u have any experience with this, i just got my iphone 3gs from maxis. i jailbroken it with redsn0w... i reboot my iphone, the iphone freeze during startup... at first i thought that is redsn0w problem, so i restore it back and try to use purplerain, but i still get the same problem freezing during bootup... anyone know what is the problem? i want to jailbroken my iphone....

stuck at phone or at redsnow ? i think maybe same problem with me..

im curious i read a thread here that after jb some of them their wifi is unable to connect and then most of them presume that their wifi chip is burned. i wanna jb my phone but this problem is stopping me,i cant bare to use and iphone without wifi. damn weird

stuck with phone, now i cannot restore from itune because it give me the message "the sim card inserted in this iphone is PIN locked"... what should i do to restore to factore setting???

just insert the pin lock laa bro...and then start jailbreaking.

if iphone 3gs...u need to make ur phone enter DFU or restore mode.....for 3gs make sure u have disconnect usb cable from the phone and turn off ur 3gs completely. and then press home button...insert usb connector to the phone while u are still pressing the home button( hold until the apple logo disappear and itunes pic with an usb cable appear)....ur itunes will detect ur phone in restore mode...u can restore back ur phone from there.

Added on August 27, 2009, 3:18 pmredsnow can JB 3gs if u follow the instruction carefully.....be careful when selecting FW in redsnow....if ur phone already FW 3.0.1...u need to select FW 3.0 to make sure redsnow can JB ur phone.

i already follow all the step..tried couple times,then now give up..do u have 3gs and have u JB yours ?

yes....i have jailbreak my 3gs successfully....and a few of my friends (lock version from UK).... .u use windows or mac? if windows what version....xp or vista?

can u restore back u iphone ?

cydia only...recommended selection...u can install icy later...recommended to use windows xp and mac os for jailbreak....gud luck

do u mean old icy version right? like in the FW 2.2.1 JB? correct me if i'm wrong....try to use windows xp if can...
