it seems my iphone was a turbo sim (hardware unlock)..
thats why isnt giving me any signal...
after meeting with =Hanxz= and chinamobile... my phone now working already..
both of them super COOL!!!

no actually u need to do alot more
as the turbosim is embedded internally
its soldered on to the phone, one needs to de solder the thing which is kinda risky and involves opening up the phone

u can pm ejslayer for some pictures, he showed me his turbosim phone last time

LOL...i though turbo sim just a piece of small circuit and chip attach to the sim tray...ermm.....problem for those if not used to turbo sim....need to google it first...see how it is done.

is there a turbo sim for iphone 3gs?

i've just finished my testing installing all cydia item and ultrasn0w on my 3gs without using wifi connection and 3g....just iphonebrowser or ifunbox and cyder....and it works great...(method for those has burn their wifi chip)

I have successfully jailbreak my iphone 3GS v3.0.1.

Everything works fine, but just having a problem using google MAPS.
Everytime i switch on maps while i am driving the "blue marker" will show exactly where i am located, but the "blue marker" will not "follow" the map i am going. Previously, b4 jailbreak this function is working with the marker following the map I go.

Yes I have on the 3G function and using Maxis postpaid line, I am able to surf the internet using 3G too.
Anyone encounter this problem b4? Thanks for anyone who can help me out

im hving problem with my iphone with fluctuation in network.

im using digi prepaid line with my iphone and i have had problems receiving smses and calls(can only receive sms after half and hour or more and calls sometimes can get thru but most of the time cant).

and then i restored my iphone and everything worked well until today the same problem came back!

wanna ask am i entitled for a warranty for this problem from apple?

(p.s. - its not digi network problem cuz i have tried using hotlink with the phone and the same problem still occur and i think its not cuz of JB also cuz previously when this problem 1st occurred my phone was not JB yet and now the same problem happen with my JB phone!)

yeah. you can proceed. no hassle at all.
happen to me quite some time. i think because i turn on/off 3g function. the last time i use, also didnt follow. so i leave for a while, then everything become normal again.

u mean by changing the settings in the network? yea i have done it but stil the problem persists..

the onli way so far i know is by restoring the phone

setting>general>reset>reset network setting

set back to normal..if got any change in ur network setting.

yes i often on/off 3G function due to batt saving purpose, may i know how long you turn your 3G until everything backs to normal? I have tried turn 3G on, with more than 30mins but the "blue dot" still not following in the MAPS.

Do you think solution is restore back to version 3.0?
