if yours is an official unlock version, no problem. just upgrade to OS3.1.2 then jailbreak it.

my iphone bought from maxis 3GS ...come with OS3.1 ...can i upgrade to OS3.1.2 then jailbreak it ???

my iphone 3GS now is having alot of trouble which i using half way ..the phone will power off itself ..1 day at least 1 time ..

went for warranty claim ..now waiting for the replacement ...

I just got a friend saying his phone is experiencing issues with the network. Keep dropping then no service after jailbreaking on FW 3.1.2

Any issues for those people who have already jailbroken their i3Gs on 3.1.2?

Just to share.. Got back my iphone3G.. Upgraded to 3.1.2 & JB using Blackra1n... What i can say is that Blackra1n is the easiest JB tools i can say so far..

Maxis 3GS OS:3.1.2 user..Blackra1n@ JB . 100% working. tested full day today smile.gif , call In / Out ,no drop call...MMS all ok except internet tethering not try yet. Agreed with sugen..."blackra1n " is one of the easiest JB tools thumbup.gif

I believe Geohot is one of the main pillar in Dev team.. A lost to Dev team with his departure.. Good also la.. so we can have alternative..

For sure is 3.0... There is no way to JB 3.1 yet.. Most 3GS out of the box is 3.1

This blackra1n is meant for OTB 3.1, just update to newer version 3.1.2

Then run the blackra1n.
