hello guys...need your opinion here..i plan to buy laptop..budget rm3000..im a gamer..which laptop suit me best...my fren told me to buy Compaq Presario CQ40-309TU..others said better go for Acer Aspire 4935G..so confuse now..

well...i got myself a package 401AX of rm2099 plus free ram upgrade to 3GB and also FOC upgrade to 3 years warranty but i didn't ask what kind of warranty is it...

When u say wanna get a laptop, we suggest cq40 but we did told u it abit too hot than c2d. So if u choose this model, u ard cant complain it too hot again. For the temperature reach 100 degrees think is cos play high end games, thats y will auto shut down.

ok, thanks. If u wan to compare 2 laptop, its better go for new thread. MSI is a gd gaming laptop, i juz take a look for the specs, look nt bad but juz dunno abt the price, normally wont too cheap lo.

ok...since i supposed to go to another thread for it..i'll jus wrap this comparison right here..i oso think tat msi is quite good..with the price offered to me is rm2499..plus 4GB RAM and original vista home premium...the bad thing i check through is that it doesnt hav firewire connection or so...and this version are the entertainment laptop..not gaming laptop...

Oh, the price is juz nice ur budget. I think if u open a new thread compare this 2 laptop, most ppl will ask u go for MSI ba. This laptop specs nt bad, c2d come with dedicated graphic, n the price nt v exp oso. So u juz go for new thread, hope will got more expert giv u more suggetion.

for student. cq is more than enough. for game n other dong dong. hot n spoilt still have warranty. dun need scare.3 years warranty ma. u din go to use it, u waste the warranty package. play high end game for whole day also nvm as long as u dun care the heat. at first i keep worrying the heat, but now, let the temp become 100c also dun care anymore.nothing can do about it.

if u very care the heat, and waste money to buy rm100+ cooler...I can tell u is useless. I'm using cm infinite. still very hot at the back of the laptop. So, I just get a usb fan blowing it. Rm5 only.

and if u very beh tahan the heat, get intel. but intel +gc also very hot when playing game. but it is lower than amd+gc. I test on dell studio 15. one more different is the laptop design. CQ-40 dun have hole at the bottom. the air flow is not so good. how expensive of ur laptop cooler also no use.
