the FID doesn't work with AMD. K10 gives a 'fake' overclock

Turion/griffin is only adjustable downwards. so, there's no way to OC for now

it just took 4days to repair my lcd, i think cq40 design problem, most of my frens having lcd problem too.. btw, got few lines, after few weeks then got 'disco' light . lol. blink blink.

I got a problem over here, I din create a recovery disc and I deleted my recovery partition.. anyone have any solution?

my laptop cannot boot up
sometime it can sometime cannot
when i boot up i will hear loud fan noise
the screen is blank (like it doesn't on)
then my caps lock and num lock LED kept blinking

i google around and found out it's Graphic controller problem

anyone hav any solution?

This would take around 1 week, my friend had his GC fried too the same model. But my LCD replacement was just 4 days. Bravo HP Customer Service. Anyway if you don't have warranty, I asked the attendant and she said about RM1500... blink.gif

my problem seem to go away...
after i do some ram cleaning and reseating...
hopefully it's gone for g00d
