For all the institute in malaysia, it is usually not recognised in other countries. They will ask you to study an additional year in order to be recognised. I think you should try twinning programme e.g. 2 years in Malaysia and 2 years in UK. UK will be the good for pharmacy because you will be able to get job after you graduate. Besides, with the weak currency exchange at the moment it will be the same price as Aus.

If you need any further assistance in choosing which university please leave your message.

I'm going to start my postgrad studies in Newcastle University this September. Could you please tell me which is one better; living in a uni hostel or a private accommodation? (the range of allowance that I might get is around 400 pound/month)

Added on May 16, 2009, 8:25 ami'm sorry, that 400pound/month is solely on accommodation allowance. ok no, make it like 350-400.

Thank you for your question. I would think accommodation in the uni will be better for new students because you don't need to worry about electric and gas. Besides, in private accommodation you will need to worry who you will be staying with.

For your information, it does not really matter where you buy. You will still have the world wide coverage. I would surely recommend you purchase HP or Asus as their service is good in UK.

Have you arrange your pick up from the airport to the university. Do let me know if you have not as we offer that service as well.

Any further assistance do PM me.

Kind Regards

I am most probably entering University of Salford, Manchester.

What do you think of the University? in term of facilities, education and etc.

Im taking Bsc in Quantity Surveying and Salford has the best in Build Environment.

What's your comment on this?

Hi there, For your information. I am also a QS but I did not study in University of Salford. University of Salford is a very famous school in Quantity Surveying. It is one of the top school for QS as well. My boss and uncle is graduate from there (20 years ago). If you need any pick up service from airport to the uni, please let me know. I would be able to check whether there is any pick up service. There will be only a small charges on the pick up. I am not sure whether there is any orientation offer.

Keep in touch. PM me if you need any further assistance.

This is what they call postal worker (point based scheme). You will stand a better chance in applying it if you are in UK. Which University are you currently studying.

What course are you studying?

Probably you could think of doing a Postgraduate in UK. Then you will get higher point and then you will be able to apply work permit there which is 4 years.

Hi I am asking for my girlfriend. It's because I'm plannning to go over UK for PG, then we heard of this scheme which she considers to participate in order to go with me (she doesn't want to study anymore). We're from University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Chemical Engineering. However, she doesn't mind to get a non-engineering work over there.

Most common are:

JPA scholarship, MARA scholarship (Bumis only)~

you need proof of academic excellence in order for these government agencies to even consider you for a scholarship, interviews are to be expected...
