VAIO Event Service and Setting Utility Services.

i have downloaded the VAIO Event Service and Setting Utility Services, but i still cant adjust my brightness using combination of FN keys @@" but my volume button can be used @@" any ideas ?

which VAIO you are using?
install the driver related to VAIO and Sony if you are not sure any..

FW43... today i juz install win7 and find the drivers.. then getting tis problem... aiks.. all other driver is ok for me edi..

the brightness control for Windows 7 still unsupported. you will have to wait the official driver release. its the same happen on VAIO Z using speed mode (NVIDIA).
if you are using Intel gpu, you will not have problem for brightness control.

ohh... then i think i will have to wait then =( thx anyway

yesterday drop by garden sony style, wanna look for FW series...but de SA told me sony have stop FW production and going to launch replacement model by mid of next month...any idea wat model, spec n price for this replacement???thx

new FW that comes with Windows 7.
and prolly adding VAIO CW, VAIO L (Touchscreen support) and VAIO X later. it officially launch on 22nd October for VAIO lineup with Windows 7.

How is P25 performance? Thought of getting one but heard its slow.

On sale on Sonystyle.com US at $1300. Pretty good price I thought. I guess we in Malaysia will never see this coming to our shores

FW probably will still be on the production line up.
But the upcoming model will b FW 5x series, no longer with 4x
Besides, for sure, it will come with the FW series feature-big screen and windows 7.

I'm waiting for it too.

anyone sent vaio for repair at vaio service centre?
may i know how long exactly they took for repair

i sent my vaio for repair last week and now status still waiting for parts...
when call their hotline number , they said need to wait parts from japan as no stock in singapore. anyone facing this issue when sent to sony service centre?

its common. i have experience this when buying an obsolete model notebook's battery. they have to import it from japan. good thing the stuff still available and buy-able from sony. paid the deposit and wait for it to arrive.

how long u wait for the parts to arrive here?
