Wondering if the P25 is a good buy now

really weird... it should be way smooth using nvidia than intel, just it runs hotter of course. but both playable. i really dont know whats wrong with your Z. sorry i have no clue. did you try what i said? if possible check the temps too. you can use gpu-z and enable the logging. post it here. possibly the card heats up and downclock thus affecting the performance.

where to enable the logging?

go to Sensors tab, then tick Log to File. check the log file inside My Document.

Wonder why the latest P is still not updated in Sony Malaysia site.

after you click the gpu-z, right after "Graphic Card" tab.

sonystyle already update the site...

i still don get it...sry im newbie...

1. Download GPU-Z here: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1379/...U-Z_v0.3.4.html
2. Enable SPEED mode (NVIDIA) for logging purpose.
3. Double click it. No installation needed.
4. Check the screenshot below:

5. Dont click [x] close on GPU-Z, just minimize it, and run your game say for few hour[s].
6. Exit game.
7. Check the log file.

Went to SS KLCC today. They have all the Z46 models. Nothing much difference from the previous models except for one or two spec.

hey guys..anyone using vaio p here?
my battery can last 2 hours plus.. and sometimes the battery depletes after a day or 2 ..what bout urs?

depletes as in battery drain to 0 capacity when its store inside the notebook without use(with notebook shut down)? cant really give ya solution since im not using it. afaik, only Z and SR having battery drain issue but it wont run out until 0% capacity for say 1 day store inside the notebook.
so far only one P user, which is tpl, you may message him about this.

yes..when the P is left aside, shut down..after a day or 2 ... the batt is not full as i charged anymore...

same goes to mine.. if the battery left intact. try pull out the battery it will store 100% power for more days. but if u keep it like a week or so it will discharge. Try go silent room attach the battery u will hear some funny 'eee' sounds from your P even when its shut down. I had the same funny sound with my fujitsu u1010.
