The room is 21 x 18. Sound treatment is in my list - but it would be the last thing to do after i have upgraded my speakers smile.gif
Thanks for the advise. Will definitely change the speakers and sub  nod.gif
my viewing distance is 13 feet as well. do share some pics as well once your setup is up and running. the projector is awesome! smile.gif

Simple setup in small room

Projector: Optoma HD65
Screen: Motorized tab-tensioned screen (yeah I know the screen has some horizontal lines + that shadow at the bottom sad.gif )
Amplifier: Onkyo TX-SR875 (7.1)
Front Speakers: PSB-Alpha T1
Surround Speakers: Wharfedale Diamond 9
Center Speaker: PSB-Alpha C1
Rear Speakers : PS-Alpha B1
Subwoofer: SVS PB12-ISD

Others :
Sony PS3
Nintendo Wii
HDX-1000 (networked)
El-cheapo DVD player (can't even remember brand)
VGA wall port

No wall treatments / sound proofing ... except the room is carpeted and a raised platform for the 2nd row seats. The 2 tables on the left and right of the front row seats (red and black ones) are laptop tables

I'll try to grab some more pics of the room next time ...

Nice decorated room.

What's your room size? Viewing distance? Seems like the ceiling in quite high.

Yeah dedicated HT room. Would have loved a fixed screen except there's a window behind the curtains so I didn't wanna board up the windows behind. tongue.gif

Added on August 12, 2010, 11:26 pmDon't have the exact dimensions but the ceiling height is about 10 feet and the room width is also about 10 feet and length I am guessing is about 15 feet.

The real world is over rated!
unless you have a direct view to the hotty chick neighbour's bedroom, i say block the windows permanently with a fixed screen...

Awesome setup. BTW...I was thinking of placing the AV rack at the side wall. not beneath the screen. I find the lights on the equipments distracting. Just measured....my screen wall is only 13' wide. I guess it would fit a 120" screen.

Any advice?

AV rack can be placed at front or side as long as your cable are ready for that. Mine is at side but given me a choice I will place it at front as it is quite tide since my room width is about 14' wide.

Throwing a 120" screen should not be a problem but what is the distance from your sitting position to the projection screen?

Hmmm...the screen wall only 13', length about 17'. it's a huge room but it's 'L' shaped. and the toilet wedged at the corner. Guess with 120" screen and sitting 13' away should be OK. but the rear speaker should have a minimum distance from the seating position?

he already mentioned he was watching 120" from a mere 12/13 feet
