bro, i think better you bring ur phone back to nokia SC to check the battery, or either some application is running on ur backgorund and seriously draining ur battery.

i think someone here mentioned that there is an application from nokia which can check ur battery consumption. try that and see

no problem with built-in email application as well ass Nokia Email. phone is working perfectly fine now..

the Custom POI is different.....it's an archive where MFM members contribute, so the POI archive is really big and populated. you get POI's like pasar malam, touch n go reload, sharp curves, etc. as for speed traps, you'll have to install the custom POI to get it.

anyways, the speed trap POI has a disclaimer, it's not 100% accurate. it's just location of speedtraps that MFM members submit. sometimes there might be, sometimes there might not be.

so whatever it is, don't depend 100% on the speed trap POI.

i still prefer Opera Mini over Skyfire though cause the pages are optimized for mobile phone viewing....don't have to zoom in and out hehehe.

thats the reason why, because u turned off AGPS.

ur suppose to enable AGPS to assist your internal GPS in locking onto satelites.

although it'll use up some data packet hence u will be charged by your telco provider. but then the package usage is damn low, so no worries there.

did you restore your phone settings?

when u update to the latest firmware, everything is wiped out. your contacts will be empty...thats why, you need to actually backup your contacts prior to updating your firmware, and then restore back when you finish updating the firmware.

if you did not backup your contacts, sorry to say but your contact list is gone.

Ahhhh....okok' since u restored then it shud be in there. Have u tried restarting ur phone?

double check what else did you set for notification light. so far i've got no problem for it. i set notification light only for sms and miss call.


my clock updates perfectly fine, even with the previous firmware. i know some ppl have this issue though....

yewps, my clock also is working. auto updating. but i realise that maxis time is 1 minute slower than my laptop's time which is syncronizing with MS's NTP.

i using cozip hardcase

yewps, it only protects the back and the sides the front part only got screen protector lor. it's something like silicone casing, but it's hard casing instead.

i'm quite happy with it though, coz i always put the phone lying on it's back so it's good enough.

my bro got a hard casing similiar to mine. has more coverage than cozip. only the keypads and screen is exposed. RM50 he bought it.

i'm not so scared of the scratches on the front side coz it's quite hard to scratch the front unless i'm really careless or i put my phone face down.

so far it's providing adequate coverage for me. only the front top and front bottom part is exposed.

what i like most is the firm grip and not too bulky and i'm able to use the phone as if it was naked. leather case too big ler, very inconvenient to keep the phone in pocket and must flip up whenever i wanna use the phone.

i guess this are trade offs lor. more protection but less convenient. less protection but more convenient hehehe

did any of you notice that when you snap picture, it doesn't focus 1st......instead when u click on the D pad, it instantly snaps the photo. if i remember correctly, b4 updating to the latest firmware, when u hold on to the d-pad it will focus 1st and the square box will turn green.
