What happended to "buying a nokia phone?"

anyone know if i perform a restore will it wipe all my apps and contacts/photos?

i am using a JB ipon. the reason i want to restore is that some of my photos in camera roll suddenly went missing.

yes it will delete all your data include your contact etc.. Do perform back up first before you restore..

My iPhone 4 cameras died all of a sudden. The shutter remains closed even after a full reboot. Only thing I haven't tried is a full restore. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this and DIY solve before I send it back to maxis?

Guys..I got the problem backing up my iPhone 4 because of this error "ITunes cannot backup iPhone because a backup can't be saved on the computer" since yesterday. I didn't have this issue two days ago after I updated my IPhone to IOS 4.21. I try googling for solution and follow most of the advice such as running Itunes as administrator and deleting all previous backup file. Well, deleting backup file did remove the error but It took me the whole night to backup and it hasn't even finished the backup. the backup file for the whole night that was created only about 519MB, I've lost patients and stop the backup. Btw, my IPhone data is about 19GB. I hope someone can help me

Since you are not US citizen, the only way is by paying through iTunes gift certificates, iTunes gift card, redemption code and etc.

You had already backup rite? Just "restore from backup" after you done upgrading your OS man. Easy yo.

I have this problem now with ma i3g as well. Its confirm camera defect, tried restoring several times; nothing works. Since you still have warranty, its time for you to claim.

zuppo, you have that error because half way backup you stopped the process rite? The only way for is to delete all the backups or completely uninstall iTunes then reinstall it again.

After that only perform a fully backup via iTunes from beginning again. Hope that helps.

Directly plug in your i4, on left side of iTunes, right click your "iPhone name" and select "restore from backup". Sit tight and enjoy your ready made pop corn.

Is it fine to have just US itunes account and no MY?

Can i register iTunes account without using any credit card?

my iphone just crash and freeze.
I try to restore back, but itunes need to update my IOS.

i tried to download few time but connection break few times, and since itunes cannot resume my download plus the transfer rate via itunes super sucks, can i just download it via other channel, say rapidshare or hotfile?

if can, once i've completed download, hot to restore it?

@dark_evilz It's not a wise choice for downloading iOS from unofficial sources.

Just update to iOS 4.2. I downloaded the file using xunlei from the link above. It took near 2 hours just to download it n the file size is about 600+MB. Upon download just open iTunes ( yr iTunes must b updated to the latest version too first)
Connect yr iPhone . Press n hold shift button on yr pc keyboard n click on update icon on iTunes. Looks for the firmware file u just downloaded n just let iTunes do the rest . The process would take about 20 minutes!

The iTunes update file is 90 MB Take a while too!
Just do it should be ok! Call time won't be reset !

Not possible restoring to 4.1 if you dont have shsh saved. Since you didnt meantioned what model of iPhoney you are using, I assumed it is a 3gs/i4 yo.

i'm using 3gs, ios4.1, no shsh saved.
