Where did you get the iTunes gift card. Some states actually charge tax. Some are tax free state. This applies in USA.

guys, i have updated to OS3.0 on my iPhone 2G. I move the photo taken with it to my personalized photo and sync with itunes, but then how come photos taken with this new OS it says unable to sync because it cannot be view on iphone? any idea?

Added on July 8, 2009, 9:46 amguys, i found that even some of the photos that were currently in my pc taken with the OS 2.21 cannot by sync. it says " Some of the photos, including the photo xxx.jpg, were not copied to the iphone because they cannot be displayed on your iphone"

help!

Can login but cannot purshase or update any apps
how to enable?

Sorry for noob post, but I need confirmation on something. Since Malaysian Itunes dont have all stuffs available like US Itunes, and if I want to get these unavailable stuffs, w/o US credit card or friend over there, basically I'm screwed? Or is there any workaround on this?

I have a Iphone 3G singtel that already jailbreaked with version 2.2.1

I have been syncing to my MBP all along. However, recently my MBP HD crashed and i have to reinstall OS and use migrate assistance to recover my data including itunes songs and application. However application not as updated as the ones on my iphone.

Anyway, when i sync iphone with my MBP for 1st time since data migration. I did a Transfer Purchases which went ok. Howeve, when i try to sync, iTunes complains that " The iPhone is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?

If i click "Erase and Sync". Will it erase all 3rd party application and my jailbreak..?? What will it do?

BTW, i am using iTunes 8.2. Could this sync with iphone screw up my jailbreak..??

You're posting this in an iTunes-related thread. IIANM, you are referring to third party apps , most definitely from Cydia. That query will have to be forwarded to the Cydia thread to be answered there.

If you are talking about third party apps purchased from iTunes, they are re-downloadable for free. Apple has purchase/download history of what you have bought from iTunes, so you dont have to worry about needing to repurchase them again, you dont. They are re-downloadable for free.

Synchronization does not break any jailbreaks, upgrading to new firmware version does. If you are staying with the same firmware version, your jailbreaks should be fine.

Guys, i have two itunes account one malaysia and one US. I want to update my application using the AppStore application on my iPhone but its my malaysia account. How do i change it back to my US account?

If you're on iPhone 3.0, you're able to switch iTunes Appstore accounts with ease. Go to Settings/Store. Sign Out your M'sia acc and log in your US acc. Done. Easy as ABC.

If you're not on 3.0, sign out your M'sian acc and sign in your US iTunes AppStore acc and sync with your iPhone. Your AppStore will change to US acc.

I tried doing the setting/store thing and it is sign in to my US account but when i update my application on appstore i need to provide password for my malaysia account. :S

If you purchased an app from US Appstore, you need your US iTunes password to retrieve the updates. Same goes to M'sia Store. Just log in with your M'sia iTunes acc password to retrieve the update for the application you purchased from M'sia AppStore. Prety straight forward.

I know. But the problem is that i purchase my application using my US account and they are asking me to sign in my Malaysia account to retrieve the updates.

Then use iTunes to update your apps. I have both US and M'sia iTunes and i don't have any problems like what you're facing. Just knowing which app is from which account would help heaps.

I had a problem with my voice memo. I cant sync after I transfer my voice memo to my iTunes. Then, it will appeared message code 13019. I check at APPLE website stated that lot of people also encounter this problem. Some of them using a different way to slove this problem. SUch as UN-CHECKED all the song > Sync > Checked all the song. WHile it wont work on me. So, I have to delete my voice memo in my iTunes. So, anyone know why this is happen? Guess that I have to buy voice memo apps from iTunes because the one that already pre-installed in my iPhone cant use it. Itunes wont sync..

No problems on my side with voice memo. Sync back and forth with ease without error.

This morning, i wanted to transfer some videos that i've just converted it into mp4 file by using Videora iPhone Converter, this converter works excellent and the videos always playable by my iphone. But the weird thing is, this morning i sync my phone, then i ticked those videos name "kangxi 1", "kangxi 2" and so on, and apply, it sync for a while and for nothing, no updates from my iphone's library at all.. All my previous videos still there.. I also tried to sync others of my photo folders, same outcome previously stated..

My iphone is iphone 2g 8gb, unlocked and jailbroken os3.0, still got 2.39gb free space but the videos only consumes 230mb.. Picture attached for better understandings..
