QUOTE(navigator @ Apr 14 2009, 06:09 PM) Added on April 14, 2009, 5:15 pm Lemme give u an idea. A good ventilation means the space around the xbox should not accumulate heat. If the space around the xbox is hot after 10mins or later, then it's definately damaging your console. that place was used to be the dwelling place for my PS2.. not heat issue whatsoever.. oh why oh why does Xbox 360 just gotta heat up.. T_T Added on April 14, 2009, 6:29 pm QUOTE(msn83235502 @ Apr 14 2009, 06:41 PM) power supply also hot. so keep ur power supply in a well ventilated area. sweet Lord, I put the power supply behind the cabinet... try touch ur power supply while it's yellow. u'll notice vibration from the fan inside. man, all this heat discussion makes it sound like you have to play your xbox 360 inside a freezer or something like that T_T This post has been edited by gunblade: Apr 14 2009, 06:29 PM |

QUOTE(navigator @ Apr 24 2009, 12:34 PM) yup, i've read about this, too.. in fact, that person even took a picture of the faulty machine and post in on the net..the plastic thing that connects from the cooler to the body of the console heated up and melted. the melted plastic then got stuck onto the console's power connector, thus rendering the console damage. |

why not either you play with your air-cond on (so yourself and xbox can enjoy the cooling) else if you don't have a air-cond, get a table fan and aim at your xbox and blast the fan but don't forget to by the dust protector for your fan else all the dust will be shooting into your xbox.
Added on February 9, 2010, 5:22 pmelse you take off the heat sink and ask some1 to make a duplicate by using copper instead... This post has been edited by skyf50wrx: Feb 9 2010, 05:22 PM |

I never use any cooling aid, placed vertically and let it on for: charging controller, download & pause before a savepoint when playing game which requires a savepoint to save.Added on February 9, 2010, 5:22 pmelse you take off the heat sink and ask some1 to make a duplicate by using copper instead... Sometimes 2 full weeks never off. It failed once and claimed warranty from singapore. The returned unit going thru a same ordeal. Now more than a year and it still never failed except occasional known software bug in a badly coded game. |
