if i use a usb cooling pad for my xbox 360, will it gives it problem?

trust me theres no difference if u use or dont use..

i was thinking, well, you know, i have a small cabinet for my console.. and it's wood...

when i play the console with it in the cabinet, the bottom of it (i put it horizontally) felt like an oven..

compared to when i put it on my marble floor, it's much cooler..

i don't want to untidy my room by putting it on the floor, so i thought maybe i can use a cooling pad to counter the small space for the console...

if u want using cooling pad...using cooler master brand...using cooling pad is same method to cooling motherboard&hardware in the laptop...i using cooler master brand...some of my friends recommend to use cooling pad...i used to play game in 2 hours...my xbox i feel hot at the bottom in horizontal...when i using cooling pad cooler master and play games near 3 hours...it's cool little bit...

if u put cooling pad at the btm...it might effect the air flow...

it maybe true what bro wilsonjay tell....if anyone here know how hot air flow in xbox..please tell me..

oh, you mean that little but many tiny bits of holes on both sides of the console?

but putting it flat on the floor also closes these vent holes...

the airflow is suppose to blow out from the back..but if ur putting a cooling pad at the btm...if might effect the air flow that is suppose to blow out from behind...

How is it gonna effect the the airflow? the fan at the back suck out all the heat inside the box, the cooling pad at the bottom just cools down the white plastic of your Xbox.

dun forget theres holes underneath...

just get a Nyko Intercooler TS from Gamers' Hideout and quench your fear once and for all. I'm using one for close to two months already and great, but noisy (you'll soon get used to it)

hahaha... ur xbox mobo is hidden under a metal box casing inside.. refer pic below..
the notebook cooler it not really helpful.. with the fan only runs at 2.5V (assume 2 fan, so power from usb is 5V divided by 2 fan) and the holes not really directly to the notebook cooler fan besides mobo is inside another metal casing.

my is xenon set (70% will get 3rod..)..use almost 1 year plus d..haven 3rod...

i got put "thermomaster" cooler fans behind my xbox and my laptop cooler at bottom of xbox..and put my xbox horizontal in open space...so far it works well...

i tin u sud not put in small wooden cabinet..no good...at least u nid good ventilating enviroment..

ur just making it worse...

i read ur above reply..u said will make the air folw problem..especaily behind is for "hot air" out..

it make sense..coz xbox 360 is very "compact" steel box

but most of all is use cooler...i cant think of other way..open the case..?

not much difference la if u add stuff in ..but if u wan to add proper cooler just buy the nyko cooler..that shud be fine...and try to put ur xbox vertically ...horizontal might affect the chipset moving its position...

last time i put tegak..mean vertically..but heard someone said will spoilt the dvd room....

now i put horizontal lo..scare dvd room will spoilt ma..i sumtime use dvd room to play,coz my hdd only 20gb,cant install many

u can try to search in garage sales...and ask around...cuz i dont have it...so i dunno how much..
