hey, I wonder do you guys apply invisible shield / inviskin on your macbook ? ... I feel like my mbp is so vulnerable without any protection . I bought foofbag as sleeve and I usually put that into my backpack.

Do you guys think I need invisible shield or inviskin to avoid scratches ?

Maybe you could purchase another type of sleeves that you can use as a notebook pad if you know what i mean if you dont wanna dirty your foof sleeve =)(like a mouse on the mousepad)

In order to avoid scratches, yea you need to get something to shield it... Maybe you can try searching for those shield that can be cut into any shape and only get it for the btm of your mac... Not sure is there anything like that or not but I know for Phones they do have the self cut screen protector..

Maybe can look up more on that

im using invisible shield. very good stuff...juz at the corners for the lid quite hard to apply because of the tapered shape.

juz buy the whole set, n keep the one for the top lid. u can use that as screen protector for ur other gadgets hehehe. like me, i dun use the palmrest since i already use moshi palmguard. so im using the IS film as screen protector for my camera

Im just afraid that after a period of time, it will tend to turn yellow and start to collect all those dusts/dirts at the edges of the shield... I took it off already cause its getting uglier as it became yellow (my iphone is white in colour which makes it obvious). But its up to you.. Im just telling what I have experience =D... Shouldnt be a problem if you just stick it at the bottom as no one going to see under there... =D and use the top for other gadgets..

Yea maybe, the reason it turned yellow is because of the heat.... Nvm after 1 year or so when dust starting to look ugly just change the protector and get another one =D...

Moshi guard will definitely not rubbery.. My gf macbook white has it on... Its smooth... =D Dont know how to explain haha.. But better compared to IS for me...

Applying no need worry wan.. Just dont spray too much and also get ready a hair dryer once you aligned it correctly blow the hair dryer and it will be dry soon... Yea you have to wait around 24 hours for all the solutions to be gone.. Last time even 24 hours also on my iphone still got bubbles.. But after 1 month only gone @@ maybe didnt apply that good qua.. Haha

okok I shall buy the whole set as now they are having promotion up to 50% discount !! nice !

I dont plan to use the palm rest as I think it will make the surface become rough ... and not smooth anymore.. same goes to the trackpad... i think it will reduce the sensitivity.

moshi palmguard is smooth, nice feeling smile.gif one tip though, when u apply it, dont bend it too much. u may create whitish marks at the creases, but it's only visible under bright sunlight tongue.gif i managed to install mine fine though

about IS, i started with the sides 1st. juz get the feeling on how to install. use as much solution as possible biggrin.gif i just leave it to dry overnight...true wut, how to tahan 24hrs, if i got another computer nvm la tongue.gif

wow 50% discount? very nice!

yes the palmguard surface is not as smooth as the aluminium body. i dun mind though, my last MBP the palmrest full of scratches because of my wristwatch +_+ about the trackpad, it increases the friction but about sensitivity, feels the same to me

haha thats why i dont wear watch when i use laptop ...

I see some pics of moshi palmrest. I realised that after applying that you wont able to completely close the macbookpro .. tehre will be a gap at the middle part just below the trackpad.
