killz23,

any casing will scratch your laptop if you don't clean them thoroughly before you put them in.

btw im using the x-gear lethear. looks cool (very cool) but it adds bulk to th laptop. my 13' does not feels 13' anymore.....
*
Forger, do you mean clean the laptop or the case?

Well, I settled for a neoprene sleeve and a keyboard protector..So far not too bad biggrin.gif

I saw the X-gear on Amazon..Wow..They look really good..

i have to say both (the laptop and the inside of the protector thats going to the laptop) any hard foreign object like sand or something can scratch your laptop. but you still have to open them on regular basis to clean the dust away.

yup, xgear is cool either the leather or the fiber glass version....hehehehe

I thought your one was Skin-mate? I read review that the Speck case need to constantly open up and clear the dust inside.

that day i dropped my macbook accidently. good thing it was inside a sleeve. a nike one. so there wasnt any damage to the mac at all, at least i dont notice anything till now. but i recon if my mbp was in a casing, it might have damaged both the casing and the mbp. but nevertheless, a casing wud protect your mac against small small scratches. but for protection against a drop, a wud recommended a thick sleeves. biggrin.gif

@Voxe,
Yes mate. Dusts or bread crumbs ( if you eat them while doing assignments on the MBP for poor students like me) would easily creep into Specks case, and you need to constantly clear them off by opening it.

@Sphinx,
How much would one cost? Do you have any link, mate?

I would say KLCC. But then again, sometimes, some design are only available for international market. Hence, it's better for you to give them a call to check. smile.gif
