@neekun,
If ur intending to get a Crumpler, see if U can get an overseas visitor to go with U to KLCC cause with their foreign passport, they're entitled this tourist discount of 10% at the KLCC Crumpler store.

I love my Crumpler so much, I don't take it overseas with me for fear it'll get dirty or torn tongue.gif

Since it's Sales Carnival..wonder Crumpler got sales or not?

Crumpler seldom got sales. In fact, the last time i went there (KLCC)...the price has gone up instead. Better get from a forumer here, rather than u need to but at the retail price.

i use a nike laptop sleeve for my mbp 15" and a crumpler skivvy i just bought at klcc after pc fair on friday. ermm just one complaint is that the skivvy is quite small and only two compartments. but that justifies the price of around rm200 i guess.
thinking abt heading there to get another. but i think the prices there are quite alright.
saw this bag selling @crumpler klcc for less than rm200 but machines selling for rm400+ for the same thing. bsides you color selection there is wide. biggrin.gif

finally got my mbp 13 but donno what kind of protection i need for it. i asked the machines guy, he said apa also no need wor :|

actually i asked this question somewhere but couldnt find which is the thread. sorry if u guys hv seen this question again.

anyway, the package igot is jz a normal keyboard protector. i feel its disturbing the heat ventilation below the keyboard. is it worth it to get the moshi keyboard protector?

also, i heard the palm rest area might have problem after a while...as in the color n scratches. so i think of getting a the moshi palm guard or something. trackpad i think shld b fine without anything.

do u guys get anything for the screen or just use iklear? how much is iklear by the way? machines selling for 80+

sorry ya, first time mac owner. apa pun donno here.

For casing, you can choose for invi shield, hard casing or soft cashing. this is the one im using http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=28705015

For keyboard protector, i dont think you need that since the keys are all in black color and easy to clean. another issue is also because the heat dissipation.

For palm guard, yea, there is a need to stick for it. Moshi is one of the best, but the Moshi package which around rm100 comes with trackpad protector too. I dont think applying the trackpad protector is good because will decrease the sensitivity.

For screen protector, i think iklear is not bad.

was thinking bout this case but its not cheap lo. i plan to get this and then put inside my laptop bag. the sleeve machines gave me looks bit ....risky. coz can easily scratch the surface.

i considered the speck before but the color not so nice wor. prefer black or silver color of the aluminium. .

Yea, im just same like you, was considering speck, but the color really not my type. So at last i still decided to buy this shadow casing. am going to buy a wireless mm mouse skin for my mouse too. which will cost me rm95 in future.

It will raise up 3-5 degree. Not really a big problem tho. I never use any sleeve for my mbp. The casing is very good d. why need to buy a sleeve for it? haha
