i saw a couple of trucks for the past few days in cyberjaya, got tm sign, deploying / replacing cables or something. Dunno whether that relates or not..

I don't need the download speed back, just give me back normal latency smooth enough to load youtube and online gaming then I will stop complaning until the next undersea cable breaks.

yeah connection to youtube and a lot of other sites much faster now. Looks like the monkeys at tmnut know how to do this at least.

i think streamyx speed is back to normal, of course, i havent test irc, bittorent, megaupload and rapidshare, i test it later after work

Speed is normal now but with string attached. Rubberband effect on latency.

The only truck I see is the military tank carrier that kept going in and out of Sungai Besi Camp for the past 2 days tongue.gif

Is this undersea cable TM Net is talking about dedicated for Malaysia only? Or shared with other countries? I don't hear Singapore having a problem with their connection...

I think the APCN2 & SMW3 are monopoly own by TM only.
Cause if you search in Google, and specify to search within 1 month, the broken thingy only happen in Malaysia, Sceamyx.
So cheer to Screamyx....good job TM.

APCN2 & SMW3 are build by a consortium of companies.. la..

TM where got money to install the subcable by themself.. if they are as "reliable-as their cable" asia pac internet can go horland already lo

because tmnut oversell their bandwidth too much, so when things like cable faulty or broken then the bandwidth routing will become a big impact on our connection speed
