shibuya, harajuku was quite ok but shinjuku is so crowded

planning to go roponggi and visit tokyo tower 2mr

i shouldve done more research next time i visit my itinerary is kinda last min

You can always go back for a second trip

yeah plan to head to yoyogi park this weekend before i go back.

will go akihabara once or twice.

can i finish roppongi, tokyo tower and odaiba in a day?

thats my plan tomorrow. travelling alone again. no koibito lol.

then the next day will be visiting washinomiya shrine (lucky star pilgrimage )

This is my route to Tokyo Tower

From Shinjuku Station E27 take Oedo Line to Akabanebashi Station E21

From there walk to Tokyo Tower just 3 minute.

On Tokyo Tower dun forget taste the Ice Cream from Cafe la Tour....kekekeke It was nice

You can finish Roppongi, Tokyo Tower and Odaiba in a day... my advice is to go to Odaiba in the morning and cover the places you wanna go (MegaWeb, Palette Town, Venus Fort, Odaiba Beach, FujiTV building etc... - all pretty much walking distance from each other once you're in Odaiba) then head back to Tokyo Tower in the evening and finally end in Roponggi at night.

i cant go till late at night as i stay in Tsukuba, Ibaraki and need to travel long hours to go back

Hmmm... from Roppongi back to Tsukuba in Ibaraki is about 1hour 30min only... not that far la... still can lepak till around 9 / 10.

if not... then lepak in manga cafe or family restaurant or karaoke till next morning! hehe...

When you are at Roppongi, do visit Midtown and Hills. Dig some french pastries at Hills' outdoor in the evening and wash your eyes

yeah .. took me 4+ days to finish it ..

i was in nagoya, japan while in form 4 (got student exchange program)... i think 2005...
i think tat time was winter ....
stay at foster parents house , my room have no heater

1st day dunno how use water heater(using gas) , so i juz showered ==freezing whole day.
Places went:
1) nagoya castle
2) shopping dunno wher
3) school + univerct
4) onsen
5) TOKYO DISNEY LAND

Friends & I are planning a trip for hols early(ish) next year. Thinking of doing it semi-budget, what kind of financial damage to expect for a 2-week trip?

I dun think got any trourist Trip go japan is 2 week. mostly are 1 week trip only.

Mean you will go 2 week trip mean go by self....to apply Visa for 2 week in Japan first you bank statement need 12k (6k for each week) after cut the hotel expenses , air ticket , money expenses for food the balacing minimum need 12k for each person in bank account.

Expenses 1 day in japan is depent how you spent...if you plan stay in hotel which got 3 star . one day cost is around 7,100Yen (3 star hotel) which is RM262

Let me count here:
RM262 x 14days = RM3668 (3 Star Hotel)
RM74 x 14days = RM1036 (Rm74 = 2000yen for one whole day food including breakfast , lunch , Dinner)(very normal food no luxury)
RM1400 x 2 = RM2800 (MAS Air Ticket Promotion price) 2 way ticket
RM400 ( 11,000Yen as Pocket money for incase plus for buying Suica Card for trains)
Total Approx is RM7,904 not including you shopping expenses in japan 2 week times

If you plan shopping also sure need RM15k for 2 week in japan

The 12k on Visa got alot lubang way ...just borrow the 12k from anyone u know...then print the bank state just to show japan emberssy you really got 12k in bank....after get arrpove by japan emberssy then only give the money back to people.
