i might go to sumidagawa's hanabi next week. just came back from choufu hanabi..lots of ppl. for ppl planning to go, go early and be prepared to be queue up going back by trains.

I just watched shinjuku incidenet. Those living in Tokyo really have so man yakuza gang walking around the streets and bashing people on the streets?

Its just a movie biggrin.gif

In real-life Tokyo, the Yakuza now are having a hard time because nowadays, if they start any trouble, the normal citizens goes on to sue their group.

But of course, as long as you don't create trouble with them, they'll leave you alone ^__^

fire, i live near that area. cycling distance . my uni is at chofu and they were one of the sponsors tongue.gif rain abit only la. i thought u were supposed to go for movie?? did u hear the funny korean girl on the mic?

I plan to visit tokyo this 29-31 Dec during my taiwan trip, can u guys recommend me some budget hotels in tokyo which is easy to access by train as well as ginza/shibuya?

You need visa first before cAn go japan.......btw we need your budget for one night. At Tokyo no matter where u stay u just need take subway ....everyway also can go. Mostly place are connected by yamanote line

Yea I know need visa, been to Osaka tour few years ago...Budget wise, I think around RM300 per night, sufficient?

You need wait tanoshi or firedauZ or others stay at Tokyo give you more info. if me I will early book the place is shinjuku blessing house. One night 5,000 yen / rm270. Usually I go japan I stay at ikebukuro area

Yeah...I think the best you try with SAKURA HOSTEL/HOTEL...please search in 'previous' thread for the info...if not enuf i think you can call them directly, they can speak English.

Ginza and Shibuya ? Try Tokyo International Hostel or backpacker hostels in Asakusa.

The Metros should get you to those places in few minutes tongue.gif

wah abg matt kita sudah expert....true true that staying at hotel/hostel near subway or train station is better (lesson learnt from e-jump's stay)
